Absolutely excellent college.

Placements: IMI has a dedicated placement cell to help students get jobs in the shipping and maritime industry with many reputed national and international shipping companies visiting the campus for recruitment. The institute provides training and guidance to prepare students for interviews and exams. Students from IMI are placed in roles such as deck cadets, marine engineers and shipping officers and IMI maintains a strong record of successful placements every year.

Review of Diploma in Nautical Science course at IMI.

Placements: The institute is now owned by owners of Fleet Management, so placements are pretty much 100% at this point. By the end of the course, all students got placed in our batch. Some are already sponsored and some got it afterwards. Students mostly are from M.Sc and Fleet courses here.

This college is okay to survive in, but it's not a very good option.

Placements: Students in my batch were sent for their interview to one of the companies, but the company hasn't responded to them yet. The top companies like M.Sc. Fleet, Demico, Wallem come every year to pick their candidates. Almost 98% of students get selected in M.Sc. Fleet, Demico, Dockendale, Wallem, and many more as cadets.

I'm satisfied with placements, average infrastructure, and fee is a little bit high too.

Placements: The placement at IMI is 100% for eligible candidates, and as the acquiring of feet parent company, the placement will be good. Currently, in the 4th year, all the cadets are placed in good companies except 2 cadets, as they are not eligible for company exams.

All about admission into Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies.

Placements: Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies provides 100% placements as it has its own partnership with a ship management company. After the completion of the course, with no obligations, the candidate will be placed on a ship and need to do sailing for 6 months, for which they will get a stipend of approximately 500 dollars as a junior engineer. After completing the cadetship, students can attend further class exams for promotions.

It is one of the best decision to take admission here. It has good location in heart of the city.

Placements: International Maritime Institute is a Maritime Institute affiliated to Indian Maritime University, Chennai. It offers pre-sea training for DNS students. The placement rate of my college is 100%. Almost every student 98% is pre-sponsored by the world's top shipping companies such as D'amico, feet management, wallem shipping, M.Sc. PIL, MMSI, and many more. Students are recruited as deck cadets for almost 18 months of sea training.
