IVRI is a premier institute.
Placements: About 25 percent of all students on campus were UG students. There were also PG, Ph.D. research scholars, diploma courses and certificate courses offered by ICAR-IVRI. The college also offered B.Tech in Biotechnology and MBA courses. Placement packages varied according to qualifications and industry needs, ranging from an average of 4.8 LPA to 15 LPA, with an average of around Rs. 75,000. Top recruiters included ICAR itself, Indian Council of Medical Research, UPSC, SUGUNA Foods, MSD Animal Health, Central Silk Board, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Venky’s, Panav Biotech etc.
Infrastructure: IVRI was India’s largest and number one institute, holding an A+ rating from NAAC. It had 19 major divisions and many related divisions, along with a central research facility (Modular Laboratory Building). The campus had many extracurricular clubs, such as sports, literary, culinary, photography, and nature clubs. Additionally, it had the largest veterinary library (NLVS), two examination halls, and an international guest house.
Faculty: The teaching faculty were scientists (senior scientists) and Ph.D. scholars. So you could understand the level of knowledge delivered by them. The teaching methodology was through smart classes in AC rooms. The curriculum was industry-related, with 33% of all classes focused on practical field knowledge and modern industrial needs. The pass percentage of college was also 100%.
Other: This course was most profound for animal lovers and those interested in animal research and animal husbandry practices. The college regularly organized many cultural fests and sports events. It includes the Agri Sports Meet, IVRI Establishment Day, CARI Establishment Day, Garba nights, and various other extracurricular activities for the overall development of students.

Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly—a great university for veterinary education.
Placements: Currently, I am pursuing BVSC and AH. I am here after qualifying for the for the NEET examination. This course is well ignored by the students fighting the NEET exam. You will have great opportunities in your career while pursuing this course. There are a lot of jobs in the private sector, and a few in the government as well. You can own farms or you can provide service in rural and urban areas.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure of the university are well maintained and beautiful. A lush green campus with great grounds for sports, badminton courts, tennis courts, and basketball courts. The hostel provides three students in 1 room. A clean hostel and campus are there. You are going to love the campus for sure.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced scientists in their respective fields, which are not offered by any of the universities in India. They are good at teaching and practical aspects of veterinary education are the best in India. Labs for every department are present and farms are also present here. Smart classrooms are also present for the students so education-wise, it is best.
Other: We are getting a 36,000 rupee scholarship annually for non-UP students. You are getting 6000 rupees if you get the 1st rank, and 5000 and 4000 for the 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.

IVRI is one of the best institutions .
Placements: I don't know if they provide good placement or not as I have spent only 8 months here and will be completing my degree Next year. After completing BVSC. I have been offered maximum 6 Lacs rupees per annum package, which is good but not worth this 5 and half year course in which I had suffered too much stress and securities. In India degrees and education doesn't matter anymore and degree in veterinary Science is a joke. I want to say many things but 100 words are limit. We can work as government veterinary officer in our homestate.
Infrastructure: Well in IVRI, Izatnagar, I can say that course work is quite good. I learned many laboratory techniques after being admitted in master course although it will be useless in India. I expected good accommodation but end up getting BEAT up quarters with no Wi-Fi and the worst network connectivity. Otherwise Lab, classroom, library, canteen and mess and other things are great here. But there should be little bit more freedom.
Faculty: Yes faculty and scientists are great and knowledgeable. I think it make students industry ready if they getting recruited in one. Lol. The semester exams are difficult. But as this institute get top notch students from all over country, no one fails.
Other: I chose to do MVSC. In veterinary microbiology for a sole purpose of going abroad for further studies as this institute provides great education with technical skills. There are many extra curriculum activities which can help to develop soft skills also. Here all the festivals of india are being celebrated as students from all states come here for Masters and doctorate studies.

A good institution, value for money.
Placements: Placements usually don't take place the same way it takes place in technology sector. It's based on references. So it's quite a different scenario and difficult to write a review about. But obviously studying in IVRI comes with a badge attached to our degree.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure built here is of old time but built to last long times. Thus, they are not futuristic and cutting edge, but they get the work done and they do a very good job AT IVRI. Weather is a con though, as we are in plains and summer here is a big burden especially for someone who is not used to it.
Faculty: Faculty, especially in our division, are top notch. There is a freedom here and scientists inspire students to think and get the things done on their own. Even though it's stressful sometimes, it allows us to grow up to our potential and lets us explore new arenas and become good problem solvers at the end of the day.
