Now name is changed RABL CARS Chhuikhadan. Best college forever for agriculture students.
Placements: In the case of placement, there is no offering for placements. But now college is a growing phase, sometime later, placements can start from here. Our college is trying to collaborate with reservation company, nursery, etc. Roles offered in agriculture college. We get all practical knowledge about farming. We get internships in VNR nurseries, and other top SEED fertilizer companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. Wi-Fi is available 24X7 in this college and hostel. Lab is available only during college hours. Excellent and advanced features are also available at this college. Classrooms has smart board. Library and e-library are also available. Every year, here organize inter-college and internal sports.
Faculty: Very well-experienced, awarded, and gold medalist teachers and scientists are present here. All have practical and theoretical knowledge. Teachers are very motivated and very supportive nature. They help students anytime, anywhere. Faculty members are very good.
Other: I chose agriculture because of my interest in farming, and I make plans for government jobs like FCI, NABARD, etc. Scholarships are also provided here. There are two types of scholarships, 1 for merit basis, and 2nd is government based. It is very best in all agriculture colleges.

IGKV is one of the top colleges of CG.
Placements: Everyone has entered college through competitive exams from rank 1st to 500th. The highest package is in crores and the lowest is in thousands. Mostly, students get government jobs. 50-60% of students get placed. Roles like professors, scientists, researchers, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every wing. There are classrooms with a projector and a big library. The quality of the food in the mess is eatable. The canteen is excellent. There is a dispensary within walking distance and a big sports complex. This campus also has 3 auditoriums for extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teaching quality is average for some professors. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The exam difficulty level is moderate. The passing mark for each subject is above 35. Since it is a main campus, the exam level is not easy.
Other: I chose this course because my stream is Agriculture. The best thing is that it is teaching so many new things. Nothing should be improved. Internal college competitions (Madai), an annual function, Krishi Mela, etc., are conducted. Our college invites farmers and provides them with basic knowledge.

The university is good if you are eager to learn agriculture.
Placements: I pursue Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (2021-2025). The course offers learning in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Statistics, etc. Placement: There are no placement offers by the university. Internship: No internship program offered by the university.
Infrastructure: There are various facilities available. In every department, Wi-Fi is available, as well as classrooms and labs in every department. There is a library in the college named "Nehru Library" with thousands of books available. 5 boys' hostels and 4 girls' hostels are available separately. The food quality is average to bad, but in the canteen, good quality food is available. The university has one dispensary for faculty members and students, a big ground for games, and also a gym available for students.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful. The teachers are knowledgeable, but their teaching quality is not good. Some teachers give their full effort to teach and they are helpful. When I was in 1st year, the course curriculum was not relevant because 70% we learned only theory and 30% only practical. In some subjects, we learned only theory instead of practical. But when I was in the final year, a new education policy was launched, and new students can learn 70% practical and 30% theory only. This can make students industry-ready. The semesters are intermediate, not very difficult, and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in learning modern agricultural techniques. At the field level, we can apply learned techniques to increase production without disturbing the environment. Every year, a Youth Festival is organized at our university. There are 3,000 students attending the university. Scholarships are provided by the government, and merit scholarships are also given by ICAR.

In conclusion, our university provides an excellent academic and living environment for students.
Placements: Over the past three years, approximately 65% of students are successfully placed. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, while the highest package reaches 16 LPA, depending on the students' skill sets and performance. Reputed companies such as John Deere, Mahindra Mahindra, and Mahindra Farm Division regularly recruit from our institution. Additionally, around 78% of students receive internship offers from various industries, providing them with valuable field experience.
Infrastructure: Our university provides excellent hostel facilities for students. The hostel committee is highly cooperative and ensures a healthy and comfortable living environment. One of the major highlights is the quality food offered at an affordable price, making it great value for money. We also have access to a well-equipped sports complex, which encourages students to actively participate in physical activities. Overall, the hostel environment is positive and welcoming. Students coming from other states quickly adapt and feel at home, thanks to the supportive atmosphere.
Faculty: Definitely. We are fortunate to have some of the best teachers in the field of agricultural engineering. They are highly experienced, exceptionally knowledgeable, and well-qualified. Along with regular classroom lectures, our college also offers practical sessions, ensuring we stay connected with the land, which is essential for a course in agriculture. We genuinely feel blessed to be guided by such dedicated and supportive professors. They are always ready to help and mentor us in every possible way. The exam schedule is well-structured and always conducted on time, thanks to the college’s efficient planning.
Other: I come from a village, and growing up there, I witness firsthand how deeply agriculture is woven into daily life. Most of activities in our village revolve around farming. From a young age, I see my father and grandfather dedicated to agricultural work. Watching their commitment and hard work deeply inspires me. That’s where my motivation begins. I decide I want to contribute to this field, not just for myself, but for my village and my nation. I see how farmers put in 200-300% effort, working tirelessly day and night.

An extremely tiring and waste of time course.
Placements: We have a very poor placement rate in our college, not a single student has been placed. It's really a very frustrating thing to say, but we have a 0% placement rate. There are no companies coming here for placements, so there is no scope for placement. There is not a single student has get an internship from our college.
Infrastructure: We have really good infrastructure with smart classrooms, projectors, VR, computer labs, well-ventilated classrooms, some AC rooms, and separate seminar halls for all three disciplines, Soil and Water Engineering, Processing and Food Engineering, and Farm Machinery and Power. There is also a common seminar hall for meetings, a soil testing lab, a processing lab, a farm machinery equipment lab, and a hall for functions.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful. Even if you ask them the same doubts 100 times, they will still clear them with utmost patience. The minimum qualification is NET qualified, and the maximum is a Ph.D. degree. The teaching quality is good, and they teach us through slides in smart classrooms. The course curriculum seems to be too lengthy and needs to be redefined to make students industry-ready.
Other: My course is Agricultural Engineering, which combines principles of technology to better agricultural productivity. This course needs some changes a bit, it is too lengthy and a waste of time, and it needs to be improved.

Agriculture studies are a waste of time, and do not have opportunities.
Placements: Top roles offered in my course were agriculture development officer, assistant professor in allied disciplines of agriculture like horticulture and agronomy, and rural agriculture extension officer. Top recruiting companies are VNR, Syngenta, Agriculture Insurance Company of India AIC, and more. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college provided good library. Infrastructure and hostel facilities were up to the mark. The quality of food served in the mess and canteen was up to the mark. Classrooms were well-equipped with modern-day learning and were teach-friendly and innovative.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable but they rarely took classes properly. Teaching quality was not up to the mark. There were various teachers who did not know much about their own subject. The course curriculum was relevant but it did not make the students industry-friendly. Practical courses should be added.
Other: The students should be a little more cooperative as well as the staff here was non-cooperative and rude to students. Teachers should be more disciplined and take their jobs seriously.
