IGKV is one of the top colleges of CG.

Faculty: Teaching quality is average for some professors. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The exam difficulty level is moderate. The passing mark for each subject is above 35. Since it is a main campus, the exam level is not easy.

In conclusion, our university provides an excellent academic and living environment for students.

Faculty: Definitely. We are fortunate to have some of the best teachers in the field of agricultural engineering. They are highly experienced, exceptionally knowledgeable, and well-qualified. Along with regular classroom lectures, our college also offers practical sessions, ensuring we stay connected with the land, which is essential for a course in agriculture. We genuinely feel blessed to be guided by such dedicated and supportive professors. They are always ready to help and mentor us in every possibl...

An extremely tiring and waste of time course.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful. Even if you ask them the same doubts 100 times, they will still clear them with utmost patience. The minimum qualification is NET qualified, and the maximum is a Ph.D. degree. The teaching quality is good, and they teach us through slides in smart classrooms. The course curriculum seems to be too lengthy and needs to be redefined to make students industry-ready.

There are not as many placements in IGC anymore as there used to be.

Faculty: They offered variety of programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. degrees. The curriculum included courses like agronomy, horticulture, plant pathology, and more. IGKV also offers research opportunities and hands-on training. M.Sc. courses included agronomy, entomology, floriculture, forestry, fruit science, genetics, plant molecular biology plant pathology, plant physiology, soil science, etc. Ph.D. courses included agricultural meteorology, agricultural microbiology, agricultu...

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placements in 2024, really good infrastructure.

Faculty: Good teacher faculty. They are highly qualified, and many professors have gold medals, which shows their excellence in their field. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. This curriculum provides a theoretical foundation, practical exposure, and research opportunities. The level of semester exams is moderate to high, and the passing percentage is more than 60.

Good for studies and the loving people and teachers, but the food quality was so bad.

Faculty: The passing percentage for the college is 50% of marks in every subject, including the practical paper. The education was good but not so great. It helps you to find a job, but you can't think about a great package. Some teachers are good, but not all. Sometimes you observe a lack of knowledge.

Review of Shaheed Gundadhur College of Agriculture and Research Station.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, as all professors were PhD's, and they are all known for research and experiments. The college is also known for so many awards as they launched their Coffee brand. The staff is so good, the academic section is so sorted, and they provide you with a good experience.

Really good infrastructure and facilities. The faculty are very kind and supportive .

Faculty: Well-educated and qualified teachers are there. They are very helpful and kind and they always encourage for the future. There are a minimum of 10 subjects in each semester, so it is a little difficult to complete every subject assignment, practical and presentation. Around 75% of students passed the subjects.

Absolutely not satisfied with this college because of faculty.

Faculty: The teachers are not qualified or helpful; they have poor knowledge. The teaching quality is the worst in this college. All teachers treat students poorly for not doing practical work, which means working like laborers for 4-5 hours. The teachers are illiterate, and if anyone refuses to do the work, they are given less marks or fail in practicals.

I am absolutely not satisfied because of the lack of professors.

Faculty: The professor at this college is very helpful. Samester exam held at scheduled time. This is a very difficult semester exam in this college. But in practicals, I secured a good mark, and in the midterm exam, I also got a very good mark in this college. Professors are always available for doubt clearing.

Good for field experience.

Faculty: The faculty is experienced in their respective fields. They are good in field knowledge but lack good communication skills. Some of the faculty members are arrogant and rude, whereas some are very friendly. Exams are moderately hard and can be easily passed.

This is a government college because the fees are low.

Faculty: All teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, but some are very strict. Our final semester is dedicated to gaining practical knowledge. 50% is the passing mark, and the semester exam level is moderate. The exam security level is very high. A sheet barcode system is used to keep student IDs secret.
