Admission to the UG courses is based on a valid score in the CUET-UG exam, followed by a counselling round. Additionally, for admission to PG courses,  Indira Gandhi National Tribal University accepts CUET-PG scores. Further, for some UG, Diploma and certificate courses university offers admission based on last-qualifying exam scores. 

Indira Gandhi National Tribal University accept several entrance exam scores for its MBA program, including CAT,  and XAT. Applicant must meet minimum qualifying percentile for CAT and cutoff mark for MAT and XAT to be eligible. To gain admission to the BBA program at The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University candidate need a 10+2 education from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 45% for General and OBC candidates and 40% for SC, ST, and PWD candidate.
