Admission to various programmes offered by IIIT Hyderabad is based on an entrance exam. Interested candidates can apply by filling out an online application form. IIIT Hyderabad accepts a range of entrance exams for admission to its courses. To know the eligibility criteria for few top course of IIIT Hyderabad, please refer to the table below:

Goimg as per the last three year trends, IIIT Hyderabad is expected to conduct BTech counselling based on JEE Main scores upto Round 4 or 5. The two BTech specialisations offered by IIITH through JEE Main are B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Only candidates with a valid score in JEE Main can apply for the mentioned courses at IIITH. IIIT Hyderabad BTech cutoff has been concluded with the release of Round 5 seat allotment. In 2022 and 2021 the counselling was concluded with the release of Round 5 and Round 4, respectively.
No, students cannot apply for IIIT Hyderabad UG engineering courses with 54% in Class 12. The percentage is not enough. To apply, students must fulfil the eligibility. The eligibility is to pass Class 12 with PCM with an aggregate of 60% from a recognised board.
Direct admisson is not possible in IIIT Hyderabad. The final selection is done basis of JEE Main score/ Olympiad (KVPY) or through SPEC (Special Channel of Admission). Other accepted entrance exams are IIITH - PGEEE, GATE, CEED, etc. Although, students can get admission in BTech based on board merit.

No, students cannot apply offline for admisison in IIIT Hyderabad. IIIT Hyderabad application process is conducted in online mode. For the offline process, students must check with the college administration.

Students must fill the UGEE application form. Then submit the form with the application fee. The UGEE application fee is INR 3100. The application fee for female students is INR 1550. The application fee is a non-refundable component.
