Completely satisfied with studies, but not about entertainment.
Placements: About 97% of students were placed in my course, with the highest being 74 LPA and the lowest being 12 LPA, with an average of 27 LPA. Some of the top companies include Amazon, Qualcomm, and Google. Almost everybody in our course got the internship; it is somewhere around 99%.
Infrastructure: It is a wonderful college when it comes to labs and a library with a very good infrastructure, and there will be 24/7 availability of Wi-Fi. When it comes to the hostel, we were triple sharing, so it will be somewhat uncomfortable. The quality of food will be good, and sports are compulsory on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and there can be no doubt about teaching, and the courses are definitely relevant, and which also makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit tougher, but most of the students pass the courses; almost 95-98% of students pass the course.

One of the best decisions you can take.
Placements: At least 70% of students got placed. Nearly 40 LPA is the package offered. Many students go abroad to pursue higher studies. Many students got an internship. Some individuals got to CERN too. You can work as a TA to earn money in your third year or above, too. For the CND course, recruiters sometimes have a science background too.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for first-year students, but it is not available or is poor. The bathrooms are clean, but we have to triple share a single room. Mess food is as expected. Nothing out of the ordinary is manageable, but since there are four messes in IIITH. There are options for everyone. Jains included.
Faculty: The teachers, tho fast-paced, are extremely well qualified and strict about punctuality and attendance. The course curriculum is very much relevant. The exams, on the other hand, are stressful and difficult, keep this in mind. The peers competing with each other for a grade are top-notch and clever. The pass percentage is uncertain and depends on the course, but it shouldn't be that hard if you pay attention in class.

Overall satisfied with faculty and infrastructure. Placements are good.
Placements: This year, i.e, 2025, 100% of registered students are placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 12 LPA, and the average is 15 LPA. Many of the students got PPOs, which are not considered in official placement states. These include companies like Uber, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Google.
Infrastructure: We have CCNSB labs dedicated to CND research. Most of the classrooms have AC, but hostels do not. Wi-Fi is all over the classes and labs. Hostels are provided with LAN support. Food quality is good in all four of the messes available. Recently, 2 of the messes, North mess and South mess, were combined and are called Palash mess. Sports are mandatory for the first 4 semesters for all branches.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in terms of the lectures they teach. They do respond to our emails. Every Semester has 4 exams in total, quiz-1, mid-sem, quiz-2, and the end-sem. Quizzes carry a lower percentage in total, followed by mid-sems and end-sems. Exams are pretty challenging. Most of the courses are graded relatively, so relative performance over others matters the most.

M.S. by Research in IT in Building Science - Batch of 2026

It provided good placements in 2024 as well as 2025.
Placements: Our college offers courses like B.Tech in Computer Science, Master's in Data Science, and MS in Research. Many students from the UG background will get internships in top companies, and it is somewhat difficult in some areas like a master of science in data science. The course structure is not aligned properly, which causes students to face trouble during placements. Furthermore, courses in B.Tech and M.Tech are good. It can be recommended if anyone is interested in technical skills and would like to do hard work to get a good job.
Infrastructure: Everything is good. The food facilities are also divided widely with 4 mess partitions. Hygiene is something that is not fully satisfactory, but compared to other institutions, this place is very clean and serves moderately tasty food.
Faculty: Everyone has to prepare their own strategies, even though we have faculty members to ask for help. There are every one who can help us at any time with our academics. Faculty helps us to understand and clear doubts. Exams are not very stressful but require effort. The MSIT course structure is not good.

It has good placements, infrastructure, facilities, and location. There is a hectic schedule.
Placements: As far as I know, placements at IIIT Hyderabad are very good. I have seen my seniors who are currently getting passed out going into good companies like Apple, Rubrik, Allegro, etc. Top recruiting companies are Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Allegro, Qualcomm, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are excellent. We have a library, a reading room, well-maintained workplaces and labs. Free college Wi-Fi is available on campus except in hostels and mess. In hostels, ethernet ports are provided but not Wi-Fi which is also good. The mess food quality is good, and there are various choices among the four different messes for each meal. There are canteens all across the campus which remain open from 10 AM until 2 AM. There is a medical facility inside campus only with basic medicines and an ambulance for an emergency.
Faculty: All professors are from an excellent background and have published good works in their domain. The course curriculum of IIIT Hyderabad is updated to the latest and one year ahead of other colleges. Many courses provide knowledge relevant to the industry, internships, and placements. The toughness of courses and exams depends on the professor teaching that course, and it is the same for the pass percentage. The grading is done relatively among students. There is no fixed pass percentage but we should maintain a minimum of 5.5 CGPA as per college policy.

Very satisfied because of curriculum, electives, opportunities, clubs, and good placements.
Placements: 97% students placed in our electronics and communications engineering batch. Highest package is 36 LPA, and lowest package is 12.36 LPA based on 2024-2025 placements. Qualcomm, Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Uber, Samsung, Amazon, and Oracle are recruiters. At least 40-50 % students got internships during their course. Roles offered are Analog and Digital Design Engineer, RTL and VLSI engineer, machine learning engineer, SDE, SWE, hardware and embedded systems engineer.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped and AC classes, and many computer labs. Students can spend considerable time in labs and research centers. Adaptable timetable and many open electives, and only 4-5 hours of academic sessions. Fascinating library sources, 20-hour library. Currently, 2025 has 3 messes, Palash, Yukthar, and Kadamba. Sports there need a requirement that every student must complete 4 sports credits per semester, one credit, and also includes many sports like yoga, martial arts, badminton, basketball, and football. Food quality was very reasonable, price, and flexible meal locations. Medico, Aarogya Center for basic and emergency needs.
Faculty: Exams are relatively difficult, but not much. Teachers are very well qualified, certified, and fully experienced and knowledgeable. Curriculum makes students super freakin perfectly industry-ready. Pass percentage is above 90% most of the time. Research centers like SERC, CVest, CVit, SPRC, and many more.
Other: Best thing is curriculum and open-ended college sources. Infrastructure and alumni connections need to improve. Many events take place, with almost 50+ events and fests taking place yearly. Many sports tournaments are held, and campus surroundings are very decent, and a nearby stadium is also there. I chose this course because I'm interested in electronics and computer Science. IIITH provides college pay-forward loans for low-income students called alumni fund. Currently, IIITH has helped me a lot and given me an alumni fund. Now I'm paying zero rupees for studying. After getting a job in 3 years' time, I need to pay for that duration.

Admission is very competitive and usually wishes a JEE Mains percentile above ninety eight.

With 51% in JEE Mains, your chances are very low for any branch through the everyday JEE path.
