The college has amazing placements and faculty.
Placements: We have amazing placements offered for digital marketing and media positions with MNCs. Almost every student got admitted to good companies, and we are grateful to our faculty and career cell for helping us achieve our own better future. We got amazing packages offered.
Infrastructure: Amazing and safe campus with a comfortable environment. It is modern and spacious with attractive built-ins and a library as well. Classes are clean and well settled, with digital learning to be done. The canteen provides good and healthy options for food, prepared neatly.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable as well as approachable. They provide us with good notes and activities to learn with fun and ease. They explain with real-life applications. They mentor us for our future. They guide us for our personal and mental well-being.

BBA in Business and Law - Batch of 2027

Satisfied with the university.
Placements: I am a student of BBA in aviation and airport management, and I am currently transitioning to my second year (third semester). We are promised 100% placement at the end of our course. They have a 100% placement record from previous batches. My batch is the first for this course in this college and they have assured 100% placement.
Infrastructure: All required facilities are provided from lifts to smart classes to cafes and stationery within the college, and free Wi-Fi throughout the campus. The college provides different labs related to respective courses, a large library, and hostel students are satisfied with their facilities. There is a free mess available for hostel students and paid-for day scholars. Jagran is known for sports, events, and games. Basic medical facilities are provided.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. The teaching is good, the course is relevant and practical, and industrial knowledge is provided. The difficulty of semester exams depends on the weather. They conduct mid-semester exams or end-semester exams. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I am a student of BBA in aviation and airport management, which is a new course in Bhopal and mine is the first batch of this course. I chose this course because of the job opportunities as the aviation field is highly growing. I would like my course to be more recognized as this course has started growing fast only recently. I am very happy with the events and campus crowd. Overall happy with the university.

Discontinued (Oct 2025) - MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management - Batch of 2022

One of the best university.
Placements: We had to complete all semesters to be eligible for placement. Companies that offered placements included KPMG, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, and Reliance etc. The average package was quite low, around 3 LPA, while the highest was approximately 6.5 LPA with some perks. I was not sure about the company names or student details. Since I was pursuing CA, I did not look for placements after my degree.
Infrastructure: There were 21 hostels, and any one of them could be allotted to a candidate. Hostels were generally equipped with basic facilities and mostly comprised twin-sharing rooms. Each hostel had its own food canteen, where breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner were provided daily. There were ample options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian candidates.
Faculty: I would say some of the subjects had very minimal or no real-world application, like Macroeconomics unless someone was planning to pursue a career in that field. I thought they needed to remove unnecessary subjects like Management Information Systems, as it made no sense to study and memorize. I especially didn't like remembering economists' names or the years they were born, as if it were a 5th-grade exam.

Not actually a great infrastructure, but a vibrant campus life with an industry-relevant curriculum.
Placements: Hi, I am from the 2024-2028 batch of B.Tech in CSE (AI) at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. Around 70% of the students in my course got placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 2.2 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Deloitte. Around 70% of the students secured internships at IBM, HCL, and Microsoft. Top roles offered are software developer, AI/ML engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The university provides a pretty okay infrastructure. The CSE/AI department has labs, low-speed Wi-Fi, and non-AC classrooms with projectors. The library is in good condition, and it is well stocked with fresh books. Hostel facilities are comfortable. The mess is hygienic and offers a variety of foods, while the canteen serves fast food and snacks. The university provides 24/7 medical services. For sports lovers, JLU has football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and cricket, along with a gym facility. The university also organizes cultural events, fests, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are quite friendly and helpful, and they are well qualified and knowledgeable. Also, the quality of teaching is not up to the mark, as most of the teachers are visiting faculty. The curriculum is industry-based, covering AI. This university also organizes hackathons, guest lectures to help students gain real-world experience. Semester exams are moderately difficult, they focus more on practical rather than theoretical exams. The pass percentage is around 75-80%. Students who attend regular classes and practicals can easily score good marks.
Other: I chose AI because I have a deep interest in the field, as I love exploring artificial intelligence. Things I would wish to be better about my course are more industry collaborations, better internship opportunities, and more practical.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2023

It is one of the finest universities.
Placements: After the 3rd semester, the campus placements started and before that, we had done internships in good companies. During placements, many reputed companies like TCS, Federal Bank, Axis Bank, etc., visit the college. All students get campus placements.
Infrastructure: It has 3 types of hostels/dorms (called IIMA) are there in IIMA. Old dorms, new dorms, and married student hostel. Two messes are serving food to the whole IIMA community. In terms of quality, I would rate it as average, considering the type of food served. It is mandatory to stay in hostels for PGP students.
Other: The fees of the college according to its facilities influenced me more. With this fee, the college provides me with everything that I need for my studies. It organises many interaction programs with successful personalities. It also connects us to the real world and real competition as the exams are conducted every semester.

JLU insiders - A great college.
Placements: The average package of the past 3 years is around 3-4 LPA. The percentage of students placed cannot be said as they set criteria such as minimum attendance and CGPA in order to be eligible to sit in the placement interview. There aren't any internship opportunities. Also, the course and teaching structure from this academic year has changed entirely (in a great way) so previous placement records don't play much of a role.
Infrastructure: Every class has projectors. The college has Wi-Fi facilities available everywhere. JIO sim doesn't work here; there's no signal for Jio, only Airtel connectivity. Our robotics lab is in a tie-up with a Singapore university, so yes, it's great. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel, but I have heard the mess is great. Medical facilities are available. Sports available are box cricket, basketball, football, and volleyball.
Faculty: The subjects in the 2nd semester are probability statistics, math, introduction to robotics, introduction to computing (Python coding), design thinking, and psychology for engineers. The grading system is divided into 50-20-30. 50% is continuous assessment, i.e., a grade on class activities and assignments. 20% is a grade on the mid-sem, which is a written test; it just serves as a grade booster. 30% is the final exam, which is a jury and a coding test. The jury is a viva system that goes on for about a minimum of 1 hour per student so as to check the student's true understanding of the subject instead of the old-fashioned written test.
Other: The best things about the course is that it isn't the traditional old-fashioned way and actually teaches coding and stuff which would be required in the industry. There are many clubs available for students to join, like the photography club, dance club, literacy club, etc. The crowd isn't much of a great thing at JLU.
