Comprehensive Evaluation of Kalinga University.
Placements: Every year, a placement camp is organized at this university in which placements are provided in good places according to students' skills and marks in which their marks should be more than 70, and their internship should also be completed so that they can gain experience. If students' marks are not very good then they do not need to worry, even if they have passing marks, they still be sent for internships. The salary packages will be according to our degree. If students are engineers, they can get a salary package of 5 LPA - 6 LPA or even more, I had some friends whose annual package was between 4 LPA - 8 LPA. If we talk about top companies then there are Ambuja Cement, Could Mine, and many private companies from which students get placements. If students want to go out of Chhattisgarh, they get offers for that also.
Infrastructure: Kalinga University is a world-class institution with state-of-the-art infrastructure that caters to the needs of students. It has more than 75 laboratories and workshops to integrate scope for research along with incubation centres, and over 1200 computers for students to use at the computer centre. Kalinga University Raipur also provides a special emphasis on the development of communication skills through its language lab. Kalinga University is a full Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The gigantic classrooms, theatre and seminar halls, and moot court are assured of world-class infrastructure, amenities, and recreation facilities for a holistic academic experience, which is achieved through installing and using contemporary projects and computers.
Faculty: The diverse faculty group at the university consist of leading academicians and practitioners, distinguished by their emphasis on the integration of research and practice in classrooms. Faculty members are very friendly with students. They help students in their projects, practicals, and internships.
Other: I am a student of DCA but I mostly liked being with my friends who were all engineering students. We used to live together in a rented room in New Raipur. We had a lot of memories associated with Kalinga University.

This university offers good placements.
Placements: Around 100% of students get placed in our course. The minimum salary offered is Rs 15,000 per month, and the maximum salary offered is Rs 25,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs 30,000 per month. Many top companies visited the campus and offered placements, and I got placed in Hira Group. All students get placed in the companies invited by the college and inquired more, but lots of companies from across the country offered, and students are well trained to handle the interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not huge but it is good, and a huge library with enough books is available. Two laboratories for our department and other departments also have a laboratory. The classrooms are good, and the canteen is beautiful. They provide world-class hostels with a full Wi-Fi campus and a green environment, big parking for all vehicles. Sports facilities for most sports, like football, cricket, volleyball, and basketball balls are available. A female-friendly environment with a clinic for emergencies is available. Indoor games, music dance, and drama are conducted. Mess makes good food, but it is a mess, so it is average. Two hostels are provided international students hostel, and local students hostel separate for both boys and girls.
Faculty: This college has a lot of senior and junior faculty members qualified and full-time working in college. They teach in both Hindi and English, and I found them helpful as I am an international student and needed more teaching specifically English language. Our course curriculum matched with all major colleges in India and is relevant, but I got placed in a job fitting this course, so it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I opted for this course, because I like electrical engineering, and I get inspired by my dad, who is also an electrical engineer. It is the most relevant course of all branches of engineering because it supports all the other 3, and if students study deeper, they will feel the same. The college organises annual sports, music, dance fest, and lots of arts to display, like fashion and others. Science fests are also organised, where students compete with projects in various fields and lots of seminars for different purposes.

Kalinga University, Raipur has emerged as a centre of excellence for higher education in India.
Placements: Placements in our university are very good. Around 52 companies including Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors and some coaching centres visited the campus for placements. Around 300 students were offered internships. Placements for the students of our 2016-2017 batch were good. There is an innovation garage which provides a platform to improve ourselves, and it's also very useful to prepare ourselves for the placement drives conducted by upcoming companies.
Infrastructure: Kalinga boasts of world-class infrastructure and facilities with a student-centric approach. They emphasise on hands on learning approach, and the students are encouraged to come up with innovative ideas for projects and practical sessions. The university has a central library, and it also offers digital content through membership of DELNET and NPTEL. Facilities like hostel facilities, greenery, canteen, mess, gymnasium, and sports complex, etc., are available here. The entire campus is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility. We have an ATM and mini market available on the campus. There are many areas available on the campus for students to hang out. There are recreation halls available here for the students to conduct indoor games and activities like music and others.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly experienced, and all of them have completed their PhDs. Our faculty members are very helpful and are always ready to help. They are always ready to conduct doubt sessions even if there is only a single student. Our dean is extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable. He is always available to help students.
Other: Kalinga is the hub for cultural and technical events. The campus crowd is amazing as there are people from all around the world.

Overall, it is the best college.
Placements: Students getting 45% and above. The average package of my course starts from 90k and goes to 2 lakhs. In our university, 40% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: There are different types of facilities and infrastructure was great for a student to spend a nice time in college. For studies, our library has many varieties of books where one can go and gain knowledge in every field. The food quality is not that good but the hostel life was great.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and highly qualified. Semester exams were a bit lengthy but if students focus on/ her studies. They surely can score good marks. The curriculum is relevant and it makes students the best candidate for any particular job.
