Best University for education.
Placements: Kalinga University is the best University in Raipur, known for its quality education and placement records. The University placement cell has highly qualified and experienced faculty. The University placement cell conducts training, i.e., they take mock interviews, mock tests, etc., so that students perform well in their placement drive. Approximately 95 percent of students get placed in the on-campus placement drive. The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The University is NAAC accredited with an A+ grade and is ranked in the 200-250 band by NIRF in 2021. The University has a large library, a central Instrumentation Facility with advanced apparatus, and an Innovation and Incubation Cell to support startups. The University conducts many events like sports events, cultural fests, and many more. Facilities provided for the hosteler are quite good. The quality of mess food is average.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their fields. Many of them are Ph.D. holders. They teach you in a systematic way so that students can understand the concepts well. Every year there are two semester exams, and semester exams are conducted inside the campus. The University conducts many tests before semester exams and internal exams. If you prepare well and give all the college tests, then you can easily pass the semester exams with a good percentage.

Good college. Faculty members are very good at helping everyone.
Placements: Placements are average. If you are a skilled student, then you will get easily placed in an off-campus placement. Many students here are preparing for a government exam like GATE, CAT, and the UPSC exam. The environment of this college is quite good for studying. Placement is good.
Infrastructure: My overall experience with campus life at college has been very enriching, both academically and socially. The college organizes an annual cultural and technical festival. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books. The rooms are well cleaned, and the food is hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and encouraging us to study, but you have to talk with them in a good way. There are two sessional exams or mid-term exams conducted for each semester. In the semester, you have to score more than 40% of the total marks.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) - Batch of 2027

Campus, faculty, and life – my real experience at Kalinga.
Placements: Placements for B. Pharmacy are average at Kalinga University. Some companies visit for campus recruitment, but students mostly need to apply off-campus as well. The university provides guidance for internships and job opportunities, but students should also focus on building skills and networking on their own to get better placement offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the B. Pharmacy course at Kalinga University is decent but could be improved. Labs have the basic equipment required for practicals, and classes usually have proper seating and projectors. The hostel facilities are average, and the rooms are manageable but can be better maintained. Basic amenities like Wi-Fi, water supply, and mess are available, but sometimes need improvements. Overall, the infrastructure is okay for studies and the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty for B. Pharmacy at Kalinga University is supportive and helps students understand the concepts well. Some teachers are experienced and teach in an easy-to-understand way, while a few could be more engaging. The curriculum is designed as per standard pharmacy guidelines and covers both theory and practicals. Exams are conducted on time and are mostly fair. Students need to attend classes regularly to score well, as attendance is important. Overall, the faculty and syllabus are fine, but there is always room for improvement.
Other: The crowd at Kalinga University is mixed. Students are coming from different states and backgrounds. It makes it easy to interact and make friends. Campus life is decent. There are some fests, cultural events, and sports activities that students can participate in. Hostel life is okay, but it depends on your friend circle and how involved you are. The campus could be better maintained and have more hangout spots for students to relax. Overall, the environment is friendly, and you can enjoy it if you stay involved in activities.

Supportive faculty and modern campus, but placements need improvement.
Placements: I’m currently in the 2nd year of B.Tech Computer Science (BTCS) at Kalinga University, Raipur. I’m sharing my honest view about placements here so far, based on what seniors and faculty have told us. The college has a decent placement cell. They organize sessions on aptitude, coding, resume building, and soft skills from the 3rd year onwards. Seniors told me that companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, and some local startups do visit the campus. Most of the packages are between 2.5 and 4 LPA, depending on your skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Kalinga University is modern and well-maintained, with smart classrooms, computer labs, a central library, and Wi-Fi across campus. The campus is spacious and green. Hostels are decent with 24/7 security, basic furniture, and attached washrooms. Mess food is average but hygienic. There’s a common room, laundry, and medical facilities. Overall, hostel life is comfortable for students.
Faculty: The faculty at Kalinga University is supportive and knowledgeable, especially in core subjects like programming, data structures, and DBMS. Many professors are Ph.D. holders or are experienced in their fields. The BTCS curriculum is industry-oriented, covering emerging areas like AI, ML, and web development. Regular seminars, workshops, and coding events are conducted. However, to stay ahead, students are encouraged to do extra learning through online platforms. Overall, the curriculum is good, but self-study and practical application matter a lot.

I am satisfied with the college. Worth it.
Placements: 70 percent of students were placed last year in top companies. The highest placement salary was 12 LPA while the lowest was 3 LPA. The average salary was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Infosys Accenture and others. 70 percent of students from my course received internships at leading tech companies like Google.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at the institution is quite good featuring a large library and a spacious sports complex on campus along with widespread Wi Fi availability throughout the campus and hostel. Our hostel rooms are quite spacious and equipped with a full Wi Fi connection and CCTV for security.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly experienced with good teaching skills. They explain concepts practically, which helps us easily grasp the material. There are additional facilities available for industry engagement, such as opportunities to interact and improve our speaking skills.
Other: I chose the B.Tech course because I have always wanted to explore my ideas and realize my potential in the digital field. This course allows me to delve into areas such as web development and data analytics, thereby helping me build a successful career. Everything is satisfactory, and there is no need for updates. Events are organized throughout the year, and the campus crowd is average. Scholarships are available based on your 12th-grade percentage, CUET scores, and several other factors.

Decent college with a good campus and learning environment.
Placements: I am currently in my first year so I have limited knowledge about placements. As shared by seniors, placements are average and improving with opportunities in private forensic labs hospital and research organizations. Internships are encouraged to build practical skills.
Infrastructure: The university has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and basic facilities. I am not a hosteler but the canteen food is good and hygienic. All basic facilities are available and so far I have not faced any major issues. We have a forensic lab where we do practical we have done so many practicals in forensic science indoors outdoor and many more.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and supportive and the teaching quality is good. The curriculum is beginner friendly and easy to understand. The exams are fair with clear question papers and a proper exam environment. My result has not been declared yet. Overall many things are good. Half of the faculty is so helpful and supportive.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in forensic Science and investigation. The best part is learning basic concepts related to crime and Science. I feel that more practical exposure and internships in later years can further improve the course. I have not participated in anything, case its my first year and I want to focus on my basics.
