Overall, I am satisfied with the fees.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed according to their knowledge and capabilities. The highest package is around 10–12 LPA, and the average package is around 3–5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture and Hirojet. All students get internships at companies like Wipro and Airtel. The roles offered include HR and manager roles. The training and placement cell is very supportive of students.
Infrastructure: The courses, departments, classrooms, and library are very good. However, the hostel charges around Rs. 1 lakh for a five-seater room and provides daily cleaning facilities, but the mess food is not hygienic or good. So, I do not recommend the hostel food.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, helpful with studies, and knowledgeable. Maintaining a good relationship with teachers also helps students get internships at big companies. The curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a little different and tricky, but the questions are useful for the future. Around 75% of students pass with distinction.
Other: I chose this course because I want to start my own clothing company. The best thing about this course is that it provides opportunities to work with big brands, and the experience helps me build a good future. Some areas need improvement, such as digital marketing and other value-added courses. Festivals and events are celebrated. The campus has an engaging crowd and Wi-Fi. University also offers scholarships based on Class 10 and Class 12 marks. Fests and annual sports events are conducted every year in November.

Decent college with a good campus and learning environment.
Placements: I am currently in my first year so I have limited knowledge about placements. As shared by seniors, placements are average and improving with opportunities in private forensic labs hospital and research organizations. Internships are encouraged to build practical skills.
Infrastructure: The university has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and basic facilities. I am not a hosteler but the canteen food is good and hygienic. All basic facilities are available and so far I have not faced any major issues. We have a forensic lab where we do practical we have done so many practicals in forensic science indoors outdoor and many more.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and supportive and the teaching quality is good. The curriculum is beginner friendly and easy to understand. The exams are fair with clear question papers and a proper exam environment. My result has not been declared yet. Overall many things are good. Half of the faculty is so helpful and supportive.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in forensic Science and investigation. The best part is learning basic concepts related to crime and Science. I feel that more practical exposure and internships in later years can further improve the course. I have not participated in anything, case its my first year and I want to focus on my basics.

B.Com (Hons. ) Banking & Finance at Kalinga University: My Experience
Placements: Around 40% of the students in my course get placed. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA, the lowest package is around 2 LPA, and the average package is approximately 3.6 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include ICICI Bank, Judicial, Polycab, and Axis Bank. Around 70u201375% of students get internships in companies like TCS and Deloitte. The top role offered in my course is Financial Analyst.
Infrastructure: My department has Wi-Fi, classrooms with fans and coolers, and access to the library hall. Commerce students do not require many labs, but there are Tally and basic IT labs available whenever needed. Bus facility is also available for students. I do not live in the hostel, so I cannot comment on the hostel facilities. The canteen food is around 7/10. There is a basic medical room on campus, and sports tournaments are usually held once every one to two years.
Faculty: The teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good for most faculty members, except one or two teachers. The course curriculum follows the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and includes subjects like Meta Skills, which help students develop soft skills and become more industry-ready. I am not sure about the overall pass percentage, but the semester exams are fairly difficult. The highest CGPA in the batch is usually around or below 9.0.
Other: I chose this course because I have always been interested in finance and the stock market. The best thing about this course is that it is not limited to one field. You can use your commerce and financial knowledge in hospital, engineering companies, corporate firms, and many other industries. I don't think any major improvements are needed. Kalinga University offers scholarships based on Class 12 marks and entrance exam scores. Connectivity is around 4/10 since Raipur is about 30 km away. A major fest is held every one to two years, along with smaller events throughout the year.

Best University for education.
Placements: Kalinga University is the best University in Raipur, known for its quality education and placement records. The University placement cell has highly qualified and experienced faculty. The University placement cell conducts training, i.e., they take mock interviews, mock tests, etc., so that students perform well in their placement drive. Approximately 95 percent of students get placed in the on-campus placement drive. The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The University is NAAC accredited with an A+ grade and is ranked in the 200-250 band by NIRF in 2021. The University has a large library, a central Instrumentation Facility with advanced apparatus, and an Innovation and Incubation Cell to support startups. The University conducts many events like sports events, cultural fests, and many more. Facilities provided for the hosteler are quite good. The quality of mess food is average.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their fields. Many of them are Ph.D. holders. They teach you in a systematic way so that students can understand the concepts well. Every year there are two semester exams, and semester exams are conducted inside the campus. The University conducts many tests before semester exams and internal exams. If you prepare well and give all the college tests, then you can easily pass the semester exams with a good percentage.

Good college. Faculty members are very good at helping everyone.
Placements: Placements are average. If you are a skilled student, then you will get easily placed in an off-campus placement. Many students here are preparing for a government exam like GATE, CAT, and the UPSC exam. The environment of this college is quite good for studying. Placement is good.
Infrastructure: My overall experience with campus life at college has been very enriching, both academically and socially. The college organizes an annual cultural and technical festival. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books. The rooms are well cleaned, and the food is hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and encouraging us to study, but you have to talk with them in a good way. There are two sessional exams or mid-term exams conducted for each semester. In the semester, you have to score more than 40% of the total marks.

It has decent infrastructure with average placements.
Placements: Placements at Kalinga University were below average for my batch. Around 30-40% of students got placed from our course. The highest package offered was 5.2 LPA, and the average package was 3 LPA, while the lowest package was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were mostly IT service-based firms, with limited participation from well-known companies. Internship opportunities through the university were also limited, and many students had to arrange internships on their own. The roles offered were mainly trainee-level positions, such as junior business development managers or sales roles internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Kalinga University was quite good and well-maintained. Classrooms were spacious, properly ventilated, and equipped with projectors. Wi-Fi was available across the campus. Hostel facilities were comfortable, with clean rooms and regular maintenance. The quality of food in the mess was quite average, medical facilities were accessible on campus, and sports grounds and indoor games were also provided for students to stay active.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members at Kalinga University were qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Many teachers explained concepts clearly and were approachable after the class for solving doubts. The curriculum was fairly relevant and covered both theory and practical. Semester exams were moderate in difficulty and mostly based on what was taught in the class. Internal assessment helped in scoring better marks. The overall pass percentage was quite high, around 85-90%.
Other: I chose this course because it offered a balanced mix of theory and practice. The best part of the course was the supportive faculty. The campus life was decent with cultural events, fests, and extracurricular activities.

The basic criteria to get admission in Kalinga University are given as follows:
