Kalinga University Admission 2025: Application, Eligibility, Dates, Cutoff

Kalinga University offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and Integrated courses through its 14 departments.

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserve category) from a recognised Board are considered eligible for admission to the UG course.
2. Applicants with graduation degree of minimum three years with at least 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognised university are considered eligible to get admission in any PG course.
3. Candidates are selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination (for UG course) or in the Graduation Degree (for PG course) as per the guidelines of the university.
4. The application form is the same for every course (UG/ PG) and is available online and offline. Candidates shall submit the application fee of INR 1200 either through net banking/ credit/ debit card in online mode or through demand draft/ cash in offline mode.

A candidate can apply for UG/PG/Doctorate programs at Kalinga University by taking the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). Students can register via online mode. The application form can be filled out or completed online on the university website.

Eligible candidates are then to apply for the in-house entrance exam. Applicants must appear for the exam and secure at least 50% in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). After the exam, shortlisted candidates are qualified for the final round. Selected candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the Successful candidate’s list. In case the fee is not deposited in the stipulated time, the student's claim to the admission expires & the same will be passed on to the first waiting list candidates.

Direct admission to BBA at Kalinga University is not applicable. As per the university's admission guidelines, candidates must appear for the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) an entrance exam conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Kalinga University. Candidates must complete twelve years of school education from any recognised board to be eligible for the KALSEE exam.

Direct admission at Kalinga University for BCom is available through the management quota. This means that candidates can secure admission to the BCom programme by applying directly to the university without having to go through a centralized entrance examination.

Another pathways for admission to Kalinga University is through the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE), which is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including BCom. Candidates can appear for this entrance exam to qualify for admission to the BCom programme at Kalinga University.

Kalinga University offers BSc in Biotechnology in regular for a period of three years. The programme is spread across six semesters. Each semesters is graded with a total marks of 550 which is a combination of both enternal and external marks. The Biotechnology curriculum covers basic concepts of biology,  biotechnology, molecular biology, genomics and proteomics, Recombinant DNA technology, etc. The main objective of the programme is to equip post-graduates with advanced skills, knowledge, and research aptitude to pursue higher education, entrepreneurship, or research and development in various areas of health, research, and industry.

Kalinga University BPharma lateral-entry course accepts admission from the third semester onwards. Candidates must have a DPharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. The course lasts for three years and has six semesters. As per the Kalinga University's admission guidelines, candidates must take the KALSEE exam for admission.

Kalinga University for BPharma admission 2025 is open now. For BPharma admission, candidates must have completed twelve years of school education first. The overall seat intake of BPharma at  Kalinga University is 100. Candidates must qualify the KALSEE exam to secure a seat for the BPharma. Kalinga University BPharma seat reservation policy mainly provides seats to the students belonging to the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes by the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration.

To secure a seat at BPhama at Kalinga University, candidates must qualify for the KALSEE entrance exams. Candidates are admitted based on scores of the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) entrance exam. Further, they also need to complete the application process of the University. The Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) has multi-step process for admission to the UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD programme. KALSEE admission process is as follows:

Step 1: KALSEE application form

As the first step, candidates need to fill out the KALSEE application form 2024 on the official website of the exam. And the pay the KALSEE application fee.

Step 2: KALSEE slot booking

All the registered candidates will be able to select the date, time and test centre based on the availability of seats on the official website of the exam. However, the allotment of the selected test centre cannot be assured as the test slots are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Step 3: Download KALSEE Admit Card

KALSEE admit card is issued to all candidates who successfully schedule their test slots. Candidates can download the KALSEE admit card by logging into their email accounts.

Step 4: Take the KALSEE exam

Thereafter, candidates need to take the KALSEE entrance exam in online mode as per the allotted date, time and test centre. Kalinga University will announce KALSEE 2024 results for all courses. Candidates clearing the KALSEE entrance exam will then be allotted seats in the courses in which they had applied on the basis of merit.
