    Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences admissions criteria varies course-wise. For some of the courses such as BDS, MDS, MBBS, BAMS, etc., aspirants need have a valid score in the accepted entrance exam. For courses such as BPT, MPT, etc., the selection is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam.     It provides good placements.
    Placements: Students get placements here, after qualifying NEET examination. Each year thousands of students apply here and 90-95% can make it to the college. The cut-off score changes each year. Around 41/2 years of UG course, 2 years of Internship, and then PG. You can practice Unani after your Internship.
    Infrastructure: Since this was built during the Nizams period, the infrastructure is antique, old and a little destroyed now. It's Asia's 3rd largest Unani College. The buildings are spacious. The area comprises OPD, IPD, college, and hostel blocks. College buildings provide laboratory facilities, research cells, and other departments.
    Faculty: Exams are conducted every 12 months of each academic year. Theory and viva examinations are held. The faculty is supportive in terms of teaching though they demand self-studying from us being medical students. Around 75% and above are considered distinction candidates at the UG level.
    Other: The course is of 41/2 years and 2 years of Internship. We held events like medical camps out of hyderabad in various local places. Programs and competitions are held each year.
