Best infrastructure and facilities, good placements in 2022.

Placements: 40-50% of students were almost placed from our department. Up to 3 LPA package was offered. Wipro and TCS were the top recruiting companies. We didn’t get any internship, but we had enrolled in a paid internship course by our college professor. Scholar Trainee role was offered.

Infrastructure: Our BCA department had a separate lab and lecture halls were also available at the top floor. Smart boards were also installed. Hostel facilities were also quite good with general rules, and mess and canteen food was also good and budget-friendly for students. NCC club was also very good. Apart from that, sports and games were also given special attention.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful in our department. And yes, they were highly qualified and knowledgeable professionals. The course was totally relevant and it really made us industry-ready, but apart from college work and class notes, we also had to do self-study to secure good placement. Semester exams were not that tough; if you paid attention to what faculty members taught us and made notes of every lecture, revision before sem exams could easily make you score a decent percentage. Passing percentage was maybe more than 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I further wanted to do MCA and wanted to pursue my career in the IT industry. Maybe faculty members should change so that students can get the coding environment. Students were motivated to take part in extracurricular activities. Connectivity for placements was not that awesome. Scholarship schemes were provided to the category students only. Merit-based scholarships were not provided to the students.

Review of Karim City College, Jamshedpur .

Placements: The placement of our college was average. The placement cell of our department was not active and the placement offered in our course was very poor. Companies offer very low wages, around 10k to 20k only. No companies offer placement in our college to any students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was below average. There is a lack of facilities in our department. There was an old version of the system and software for study. The library was available in the college. Hostel was provided by the college. Basic medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Faculty of our college were studied from this college only. The professors were good and arrogant; they were only interested in gossip, and even the principal was also involved. The course curriculum was according to Kolhan University. Students were not placed in any companies.

Prestigious institution of Jamshedpur.

Placements: There were very limited placement opportunities in this college because this college was recently launched vocational courses. This is basically a degree college. In my session, almost all students did not get internship offers from any companies. The top role offered was web developer.

Infrastructure: The college has average facilities. Basic facilities were available like a library, canteen, and practical labs (computer labs). Wi-Fi was available on the campus but can't be accessible by the students. The canteen was good. Inadequate sports facilities were available.

Faculty: Faculty members of our course had just completed their degree and had expertise in the field of computers so much. They helped us in all scenarios by all the ways. After completion of the course, students can build websites and apps. Semester exams were moderate.

Not a good college in Jamshedpur .

Placements: The placement cell was not formed during our session, which was very poor. Rarely any students got placement offers. Almost all students were getting their jobs from off campus or pursuing MCA. No students get internship opportunities in our college. Placement statistics improved in the recent year.

Infrastructure: Basic facilities and infrastructure available for our course, like the lab, were available, but many old versions were available. College Wi-Fi was not used by students. Classrooms were also too old. Library facility was available. Hostel was not provided by the college.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members was good. All teachers were newly recruited members. The course curriculum was relevant and affiliated with Kolhan University. Semester exams were moderate.

College conducts semester exams very late.

Placements: Our college has no campus placement. Most passing-out students try to pursue MCA or seek placement off-campus. Approximately 15% - 20% of students get internships from our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college Infrastructure and facilities are very bad. Wi-Fi is very slow, and some computer software in the labs is not genuine. The library is average. There are no hostel facilities. I have never tried food from the canteen, but I can surely say it is below average. There are no facilities for sports.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified for the courses. Course curriculum is not relevant and doesn't prepare students for industry-level work and projects. Exams are not difficult, but semester-end exams are very late. About 40% is the passing percentage for exams.

Muslim Professional College in Jamshedpur.

Placements: The college is not so good if you are looking for placement. For internship, you have to search for them by yourself; no company comes for internship in this college. During our course, there is no separate placement cell for our course in the college. Top roles offered in our course are Web Developer, Network Security Engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has proper, well-equipped labs. Wi-Fi is not available for everyone. Campus area is very small as they run so many courses. Canteen is available in the college and has good and hygienic food. Sports events are not regularly organized. Only basic medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, kind. They help you with all your doubts. You have to ask questions to teachers. The teaching is good but not very much good. The course curriculum is relevant and you will become industry-ready. Semester examination is neither hard nor easy.
