Kurukshetra University (KUK) requires a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Class 12 for admission to its B.Sc programs, so with 57% in CBSE, you are eligible to apply. However, the actual cutoffs for popular and specialised B.Sc courses at KUK are much higher. For example, in 2024, the cutoff for B.Sc in Multimedia was 90.4% and for B.Sc in Printing and Packaging Technology it was 85.2%. This means that while you can apply, admission to high-demand specializations at the main campus will be difficult with your marks. You may still have chances in less competitive B.Sc programs or through KUK-affiliated colleges, where the cutoffs are often lower. It would also be wise to explore options in nearby universities or private institutions that have more flexible admission criteria. Monitoring KUK's official merit lists and counseling rounds may also help, as some courses might see a relaxation in cutoffs during later rounds.
