Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University (MAFSU) has a very different scope from the erstwhile B.A. traditional model. It does not comprehend much more ordinary forms of a B.A.It is into more programs like B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc., and B.Tech (Dairy Technology). It is not the appropriate place for a B.A.; the movement of arts is better at conventional universities like Mumbai University. This is a niche that MAFSU has. This is where you expect it to be strong in terms of faculty and research in animal sciences. The general B.A. scope is completely different from this university. Its name remains in 2025 favorably in technical areas and not in the negative arts; hence cannot serve this purpose.

B.A. fees can be related to MAFSU because it does not offer such forms of education as a traditional B.A. Those fees, like B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc., will be of state veterinary university standard.A five-year B.V.Sc. has tuition from around INR 15,000-25,000 to INR 75,000-1,25,000. In addition, hostel fees will be around INR 10,000-15,000 each year, INR 2,000-3,000 for exams, and INR 1,000-2,000 for the registration fee at the first time totaling around INR 1,00,000-1,50,000 overall. This is very cheap when comparing it to private colleges that charge upwards of INR 5,00,000.For a hypothetical B.A., being state norms around INR 10,000-20,000 per annum for fees would probably be the case, except that MAFSU does not provide it, and thus, this is speculative.
