Based on the reviews and feedback from current and past students, here's what we've gathered:Infrastructure and Facilities* The campus has excellent infrastructure, with modern labs, digital classrooms, and libraries.* Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus.* Hostel facilities are available for both in-state and out-of-state students.* The hostel canteen serves affordable and decent meals.* Other amenities include sports facilities, a gym, and a medical center.Course Curriculum and Faculty* The B.Sc. programme in biotechnology is well-regarded, with experienced professors who are knowledgeable and approachable.* The curriculum is designed to prepare students for industry-ready careers.* Teachers are supportive and willing to clear doubts.Placement Records* While placements aren't guaranteed, many students have secured internships and jobs with reputed organizations like TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini.* The highest salary package offered was INR6 lakhs, with an average package of INR4 lakhs.Student Life and Culture* The university organizes various cultural events and fests, including the annual Anweshan fest.* There's a strong sense of community among students, with many social activities and clubs.Challenges and Areas for Improvement* Placements could be improved, with some students expressing dissatisfaction with the recruitment process.* Language barriers may exist, particularly for international students, since the medium of instruction is bilingual (English and Bengali). In conclusion, while no institution is perfect, MAKAUT offers a solid foundation for students pursuing a B.Sc. degree in biotechnology. With its excellent infrastructure, dedicated faculty, and industry-focused curriculum, it's definitely worth considering. However, students should be aware of potential challenges and areas for improvement, such as placement records and language barriers.Recommendation: If you're interested in pursuing a career in biotechnology, consider applying to MAKAUT's B.Sc. program. Take advantage of the university's resources, stay proactive in seeking internships and job opportunities, and engage with the vibrant student community.

Students appreciate the Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, laboratories, and hostels.Faculty: The faculty members are generally experienced and knowledgeable in their fields, providing guidance and support to students.Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant and applicable to the industry, preparing students for their careers.Placement Record: While the placement record is not outstanding, around 70-80% of students from the CSE branch reportedly get placed every year. The highest package offered can range from INR3-12 LPA, depending on individual performance.Internship Opportunities: However, interns report that getting an internship is largely dependent on individual efforts, as the college does not provide extensive internship opportunities.Teaching Quality: Student feedback indicates that the teaching quality varies, with some professors being more helpful and approachable than others.Semester Exams: Exam difficulties vary, with some students reporting moderate to difficult exams, and a passing percentage requirement of 6 CGPA.Overall, while MAKAUT has its strengths and weaknesses, students and alumni suggest that it can be a viable option for those interested in pursuing a B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.
