{Source: BCA students & alumni}BCA Course Review at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT)Pros:* Industry-oriented curriculum suitable for arts background students aspiring to join the IT sector* Cooperative and knowledgeable teachers who provide support and guidance* Excellent infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, classrooms, and hostel facilities* Opportunities for internships and placements with reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and more* Average salary package offered is around INR5.5 LPA, with the highest package reaching up to INR8 LPA* Around 60% of students get internships, and almost 90% of students get placed within a year of graduationCons:* Poor placement cell, with most students relying on self-initiated efforts to secure jobs* Limited availability of resources, leading to difficulties in completing projects and assignments* Some teachers may not be approachable or effective in communicating complex concepts* Infrastructure maintenance and upkeep can sometimes be subparOverall, while the course seems to offer valuable opportunities for students interested in joining the IT sector, improvement is needed in terms of the placement cell's effectiveness and resource allocation.Recommendations:* Improve the placement cell's strategies and resources to increase successful placements* Enhance teacher training to improve communication and approachability* Invest in maintaining and upgrading infrastructure to maintain optimal conditionsSource: Review and feedback from current students and alumni of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) BCA course.
