Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidates who have secured 90% or more marks in the qualifying examination, irrespective of the board (for students belonging to communities other than SC/ST).
2. SC/ST students who have secured 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination, irrespective of the board
3. Children of a single parent with an income less than Rs.1, 00,000/- per year.
4. Children of ex-servicemen – personnel who served in Defense Forces in any cadre.
5. Children of MAHER employees.
6. Siblings of MAHER alumnus.
7. Candidates who are to become the first graduate in the family.
8. Physically challenged candidates.
9. MAHER alumnus applying for post-graduation.
Meenakshi Scholarship

1. Children of a single parent with an income less than Rs. 1, 00,000/- per year.
2. Children of ex-servicemen – personnel who served in Defence Forces in any cadre.
3. SC/ST students who have 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination irrespective of Board.
4. Candidates who are to become the first graduate in the family.
5. Students who won in Intercollegiate/State/Regional/National/International level Co-Curricular/ extracurricular events (scientific / sports / culturals / literary / Fine arts events) in the previous academic year.
6. Students who have scored an aggregate of 60% and above in the previous academic year/semester Examinations.

Placements: Around 20%-40% get direct placements, as many pursue higher studies. In the lowest package, the college has offered course for us, so that students can study well without any financial pressure. Top recruiters are from Bangalore, Mumbai, etc. Europe is also part of the best option as well. Above 60% of students got internships in better institutions at Manashasthra Mind Care, Kilpauk, Child Mental Care Farm, and so on. Placements: I'm studying 2nd-year psychology. So I have no placement now but other departments like 3rd-year students are attending many interviews with recommendations from the college. Many of them are also placed with good packages. So this information only I know about placements.
Placements: There is about 75% of students got placed from this course and fee is Rs. 25000 which is affordable compared to other colleges. They provide placements and internships to students who get 80%.
Placements: I've enrolled for Bachelor of Commerce specialisation in Corporate Secretaryship, and there are 26 members in our class. The highest package is Rs. 15,000 pm and the lowest is Rs. 10,000 p.m. Everyone in our class got internship placement, and we've trained in December 2024. Placements: In our college, students are selected according to their percentage, which has to be more than 75%. And our college has a link with the government hospital in Kanchipuram; it's helpful for practicing. Apollo and Chettinadu Hospital came for placements. You will definitely get selected in any of the two hospitals.
Placements: I have been a dental student here at Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital for almost 4 years (My final year). We are a class of 90 students. The package given to interns is low, but the patient flow is good as it is situated in one of the main areas of the city.

The Tuition fee per student is Rs. 1.30 Lakhs per annum.The College has 85% general seats and 15% seats under management quota. The college is affilated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University for the 1st Year batch of MBBS. However 2nd Batch would receive degree from Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research.
