Students need to upload certain documents at the time of filling out the application form for MIT University Shillong. For admission to the BSc course at MIT University Shillong, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course is entrance-based i.e., MIT-DAT, Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam, / Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and DALHAM - Assessment and Rating Tool (D-ART) and candidates must pass Class 12 with a 50% aggregate.

MIT Shillong offers a two-year MBA programme spread across four semesters. To be eligible, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and demonstrate proficiency in English. With 45% marks, candidates do not qualify for admission. Selection is based on scores from entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, or a university-specific test.
