MLSU has a serene campus with decent facilities and a strong academic foundation.
Placements: There are some placements at MLSU, but not many. While many students find employment on their own or take government exams, about 25% of students are placed through campus drives. While some people receive good packages, the average is in the lower-to-mid range. The majority of positions offered are in basic corporate roles, banking sales, etc. The platform is provided by the university, but it's not a placement-driven campus, what matters most is your own initiative, connections, and abilities. Instead of depending on the college to provide opportunities for you, it's more important to create your own.
Infrastructure: The campus is spacious, green, and gives a peaceful vibe to the university. The classrooms are clean but not very modern; some buildings show signs of age. The library is genuinely useful, calm, and perfect for study sessions. Wi-Fi works in some places but is inconsistent everywhere. Computer labs work but aren't high-tech. The space given for sports and outdoor activities is there, and basic but affordable food is available at the canteen. Overall, the infrastructure isn't flashy or modern, but comfortable and practical for students who need a quiet and peaceful environment for focus and studies.
Faculty: The faculty at MLSU includes both traditional and truly outstanding instructors. Learning feels authentic when you have a good instructor, otherwise, you are primarily studying on your own. Although the curriculum is strong theoretically, it is not very in line with the demands of the contemporary industry. It provides you with a solid conceptual foundation, but you will need to develop your own practical skills through online education or internships. You won't be spoon-fed by the system, but if you're self-motivated, you can use that to your advantage and create your own educational path.
Other: MLSU has a very down-to-earth student culture. People are affable, helpful, and not competitive in a toxic way. You will get to meet students preparing for everything from government exams to startups to academic research. As a city, Udaipur makes the experience nice, along with being calm and scenic, not chaotic like a bigger metro. The university doesn't stress you or micromanage you, which is also a freeing thing for independent learners. Fundamentally, your time here is pretty much what you make of it: low stress, lots of self-growth, and space to figure out your direction.

Absolutely satisfied with the staff, campus, and education.
Placements: Not many of my batchmates are left out of placements. It is pretty fine and satisfied with the placements done here. Many students get placements here. As far as I can remember, the students are also very much satisfied with their respective placement offers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice. College campus is vast and diverse in area. Hostel facility is also available and very good. Sports are really taken seriously here. Campus is spread over 6-7 acres of land.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are very qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. The course curriculum is also very relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult. Teachers are helpful and friendly with the students. Teachers are again very supportive and helpful.

It has affordable courses with good faculty, decent infrastructure, but limited placements.
Placements: Placements are limited and it is around 30 to 40 percent. The highest package ranges from 4 to 5 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting organisations are NGOs, counseling centers, hospitals, and academic institutions. Roles offered are mostly counselor, research assistant, teaching assistant, and clinical psychology trainee.
Infrastructure: Our college has decent infrastructure, spacious classrooms, a library, and a small psychology lab. Hostel facilities are available separately for both boys and girls. Hygiene and maintenance could be better. Wi-Fi facilities are available on campus, but connectivity is not always consistent.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and supportive, with experience in specialized fields. Teachers are approachable for guidance beyond lectures. Exams are held semester-wise. The pass percentage is usually high, which is above 80-85%. The course curriculum is well-structured.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027

Decent academics and a peaceful campus, but it lacks practical exposure and strong placements.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.Com from MLSU, Udaipur, and will graduate with the 2025 batch. Around 20-30% of students in our course got placed, with packages ranging from 2 LPA to 8 LPA, and an average of about 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiters included Deloitte, ICICI Bank, HDFC Life, and some local startups. Around 30-50% of students got internships, mostly in CA firms, banks, and finance startups. Common roles offered are audit assistant, financial analyst, accounts executive, and business development executive.
Infrastructure: MLSU's B.Com department has basic facilities like spacious classrooms, a good library, limited Wi-Fi, and access to a computer lab. Hostels are average, mess food is simple and hygienic, and a canteen is available. Medical help is basic, with a campus health center. Sports facilities include playgrounds, indoor games, and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are generally supportive and possess good subject knowledge. However, there is a greater focus on theoretical learning rather than practical applications. The syllabus is updated and aligned with university norms, but it lacks real-time exposure to industry practices. To be job-ready, students often need to learn additional skills through online courses, internships, or workshops. Guest lectures and seminars are occasionally conducted, which help in expanding understanding beyond textbooks. Classroom interaction is average, with limited hands-on training. Exams test understanding of core concepts but rarely challenge analytical thinking. Most students pass without much difficulty, but high scores require consistent effort.
Other: I am from the B.Com 2025 batch at MLSU Udaipur. I chose this course for its strong base in business and finance. It's affordable and covers a wide range of topics, but it needs more practical learning and placement support. Campus is peaceful, with average fests, decent connectivity, and some extracurricular activities. Scholarships are available, but students' engagement can be improved.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: 40% placement rate for this course. The package started from 2 to 10 LPA. MPC Cloud Consulting Pvt. Ltd. was the top recruiting company. Approximately 30% of students got internships. The top role provided by the companies was accounting manager.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was top-notch. All libraries, classrooms, and labs were excellent. That helped in my studies. The quality of facilities the college provided was also good. The food quality, the sports fields, and the medical facilities were all nice.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, highly qualified, and very knowledgeable. The teaching style and methods were also unique. There were many relevant curriculum activities related to the course. They were helpful in making students familiar with the industry. The exams were quite tough to succeed in.
Other: I chose this course because I liked calculating money and working with circulating funds. I thought using the premium version of the software made a difference. The college hosted many events, fests, and camps that helped with communication and interaction with people.

Satisfied with the faculty, but you have to dedicate time to your studies.
Placements: This college does give placements but only to some extent. Only intelligent students are eligible for placements, it is not for average students. And if you need a job directly after graduation, you should apply to a different college. If you are intelligent like a pro, then you can apply here.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Labs are different for MCA and BCA students. Two libraries are here, and there is a mess and medical facilities, but they are not for BCA students. They are for the university, Mohanlal Sukhadia University. So apply if you want to come.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. Students can certainly engage for their betterment and to increase their IQ. The pass percentage is low, at just 60%, but there are no high-level difficulties in the exams. If you study, you'll easily pass them.
