Nalanda University, offer Master of Arts courses in different specializations including M.A. in Historical Studies, M.A. in Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions, M.A. in Hindu Studies (Sanatana), and M.A. in World Literature. The duration of the course is two years. The total tuition fee for the INR 1.12Lacs (for 2 years).

Nalanda University only offers a B.Sc in one specialization, conversely, 12 specializations in B.Sc are offered at KK University. 

However, KK University being more expensive than Nalanda University may not provide better placements than Nalanda University. The average package for B.Sc students was around INR 6 LPA and the highest package was around INR 9 LPA at Nalanda University.

There is no direct admission to Nalanda University; instead, you must go via their admissions process. A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 55% or more is required; additional criteria, such as job experience, may apply to certain programs. Tests such as the TOEFL or IELTS are also required to demonstrate your English skills, if necessary. You must fill out an online application, upload documents, pay a fee, and supply personal and academic information. Candidates that make the short list go through a selection procedure that may involve an interview and an evaluation of their academic standing. Because admission is competitive, fulfillment of the requirements does not ensure admission.

There are 60 spots available in Nalanda University's MBA program.The programme offers a concentration in Sustainable Development & Management and lasts for more than two years, comprising 74 credits. A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 55% (or equivalent), a minimum score on the CAT, XAT, MAT, or GMAT, and an interview are prerequisites for admission.
