B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - Batch of 2029
Offered by Institute of Law, Nirma University

Great campus and facility, but the value for money is still questionable with average placements.
Placements: 60 to 70% of those students who are looking for a placement get placed for sure. The College recruitment cell is quite active. In law, many people opt for the judiciary, litigation, or further studies like LL.M. The college provides great opportunities for that too, but if you are into corporate, this place is not a bad choice. You have to work really hard to earn it. The highest package goes up to 12 to 14 LPA. The average is around 8 to 9 LPA, while the lowest is up to 5 LPA. Tier 1, Tier 2 legal firms based on your CV and skills, Khaitan and Co., Amalchand, etc.
Infrastructure: The best part is its campus and hostel, it is around 125 acres, all green, although because of the greenery and the secluded place, there are many animals and snakes, it becomes pathetic during the rains. Apart from this, there is Wi-Fi, a central library, reading room, gym, sports area, mess facility, 3 canteens with a wide range of food items with average pricing and good food. The classrooms have AC, there is also a sick room, and it really helps when girls are on their period and not feeling well. The hostels are super cool at 11 pm.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, they all hold a Ph.D. degree with years of experience in what they teach. The curriculum is designed so well, with more subjects of B.A. in 1st year and law based subjects in the later years. They conduct tutorials for each subject. They also guide research papers. Semester exams are not that difficult if you have focused in your class. 1st year will be a cake walk if you are sincere, or else we have many students who got back on track in subjects, also they are quite serious in UFM. 2 to 3 students got detained as well.
Other: I am interested in corporate and their placements are quite good in number. This course is highly expensive if you are into corporate, then it is still workable, but if you are into judiciary or further studies, then it is not value for money as the ROI is very small. These events are not that great, crowd is full of themselves, law school is always toxic with great difficulties for introverts, they do provide scholarships on a rank basis, and for economically weaker sections. It is located on a highway and you have to travel for kilometers to get into the main city.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028

Nirma University is a good private college.
Placements: Approximately, we have 80 students in one class, and two such classes. Placements are getting better year by year. The highest package in the ECE stream is approximately 53 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, NVIDIA, Amazon, Adani, etc.
Infrastructure: All rooms are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi facility is available for free. There is proper parking space, and the campus is surrounded by greenery. The canteen is affordable, hygienic, and offers the best food. There are four canteens K canteen, Pharma canteen, Law canteen, and MBA canteen and all of them are excellent. Labs are also well-equipped and among the best. The college has the best infrastructure and a peaceful environment without any stress.
Faculty: There are three exams one is a unit test, one is a mid-semester exam, and one is an end-semester exam. All exams are quite easy, so there is no need to worry. The first year is easy, but the succeeding years become more difficult. Overall, the university has good faculty members not the best, but definitely not the worst.
Other: The culture and fests are also good.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) + Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Institute of Management, Nirma University
3.2

Good infrastructure but bad faculties.
Placements: The college provides 100% placement, and the average placement is around 12 LPA. The lowest package is about 7 LPA, and the highest is 70 LPA. The institute, however, does not provide placement for the undergraduate program (BBA). Companies like Morgan Stanley, Searce, JP Morgan, and Axis Bank offer placements.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure as a new building has just finished construction. The mess is also very good. The faculties are not that good, and most of them have little knowledge of the subject. There are two sports grounds, one for football and one for cricket. A sports complex is also under construction.
Faculty: The teachers are fine; some are good, while others are not. The curriculum includes internships every year, so a serious student can gain proper industry exposure. However, the courses are very cumbersome and irrelevant at times, and you get very little practical knowledge. The difficulty of the exams is very low.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do an MBA. This course offers an exit option after three years if you can get into a better college. The only thing I would like to change is the attendance policy of the college. Other than that, it's fine. There are various committees that organize events all year round, so there's no shortage of that.

An honest opinion on Nirma University.
Infrastructure: There are multiple canteen on campus which provides a wide range of options. There is a gym, a playground for multiple sports and games. The campus is open from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM for all. Those who live in hostels can stay inside. Overall, the facilities are good.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is good, there are many faculty members, and the number of students per class is limited. The curriculum design is good and in-depth. The exam system is a continuous evaluation, the result is not just based on the final semester exam. Some of the faculty members are good. The ability they have to make you understand the topic is great. Well, the curriculum covers all the topics in that domain with a good amount of practical. Industry experts are invited to give real-life scenarios about the real industry. The exams are not too difficult to pass, but to score one needs to work a little hard.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by Institute of Technology, Nirma University

Great placement, strong academics, and impressive campus life.
Placements: From Nirma University, Institute of Technology, CSE branch, Batch 2024 around 90% of students got placed. The highest package was 50 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and TCS. 85% of students got internships in top MNCs. Roles offered are SDE, analyst, and ML engineer.
Infrastructure: Nirma University CSE department offers smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced labs (AI/ML, data science), and a rich central library. Hostels are clean with good Wi-Fi, 24/7 security, and laundry. Mess food is decent, canteen offers variety. Medical center is available on campus. Sports complex has facilities for cricket, football, badminton, gym, etc. Overall infrastructure is modern and well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified (mostly PhDs), and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with a practical focus. The CSE curriculum is regularly updated and industry-relevant with courses like AI, ML, and data science. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, students who attend regularly and study properly can pass. Pass percentage is around 90%-95%.
Other: I'm from the 2024 CSE batch of Nirma University. I chose CSE due to my interest in coding and tech. The best things are an updated curriculum, coding culture, and good placements. Improvements needed like more industry projects and startup support. Fests like NU-Tech and Encore are vibrant. Campus crowd is diverse and friendly with the well-connected location. There are green surroundings. Scholarships are available based on merit. Many clubs and extracurriculars for overall development.

Excellence of faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: Total of 400 students are placed in computer science field every year. The highest package till year is CTC 52 LPA. The average salary is 10 LPA - 12 LPA. SDE and many more have been offered in the last 2-3 years when I was on campus. One internship in DE Shaw is also placed with pre-placement talks and PPO.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. Classrooms are basic and computer labs are still under resource as some of them are still holder model and electricity issues sometimes occur. There is food issue in the canteen. Sometimes, when food is served, insects are there.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. Many of them are Ph.D. holders and masters. Still, some of them are going on for research topics as well. Knowledgeable of course, I got full support through them. Students have to practice and make them ready for the role they are interested in. Passing is required above 5.0 CGPA/SGPA.
Other: Course I chose because of the 12, I completed with computer science as electives. The course is very diverse and no flexibility is given. Students have to complete and pass all the courses irrespective of their choice of field. There some space should be given like following their dream and choosing their path following the perfect role they wanted. Events, fests, extra-curriculars, and scholarships are available. No one can beat the events and fests life 4 years the students will experience.

Yes, candidates can join the BPharm course without valid NEET scores. Because Nirma University also accepts different entrance examination scores for admission to the BPharm course, such as GUJCET/Merit, etc. Thus, NEET is one of the accepted entrance examinations for admission to the BPharm course.

Having 89-91 percentile of JEE Main, the general category is not expected to get CSE in best NITs (such as Trichy, warangal). Nonetheless, you are a good candidate to CSE/IT in some of the newer NITs (e.g. NIT Agartala, NIT Puducherry, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Sikkim, NIT Manipur, NIT Arunacha
