A few more updates are given below:
- The OJEE 2026 exam for the MBA/PGDM course has now concluded. The results are anticipated to be declared by Jun, 2026.
- The CAT 2026 registration window is expected to open in Aug 2026, for the MBA course.
- The ATMA 2026 July session registration portal is active for the MBA/PGDM course. Jun 30, 2026, is the last date to register for the exam going to be conducted on Jul 12, 2026.
- Registrations for the MAT 2026 May session are currently in process for the MBA course. The deadline to register for the PBT mode is May 25, 2026, for the test scheduled on May 31, 2026. Further, the registration window for the CBT mode closes on Jun 8, 2026, with the exam set to be conducted on Jun 14, 2026.
NIST MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
NIST MBA is a PG course offered in the full-time mode. The duration of an MBA is two years. MBA at NIST is AICTE-approved and is offered through College of Management and Commerce. It is offered in various specialisations, including HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc. NIST MBA admission is provided based on scores in O-JEE/CAT/MAT/XAT. Candidates should have completed a bachelor's degree of a minimum of three-year duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

The OJEE Board releases the OJEE counselling notification online on the website, ojee.nic.in. The OJEE counselling process has started on June 20, 2025.
Candidates who qualify the OJEE exam will be eligible to participate in the OJEE counselling process. The qualifying candidates have to complete the OJEE counselling registration online once the registration window opens. The registration process for OJEE counselling comprises registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the nodal centre. The authority will release OJEE counselling 2025 schedule online. The registration window will be open for approximately a month and the students can lock their choices and get the document verification done after the final seat allotment process is complete.
Candidates should report the counselling centre with original as well as copies of the following documents:

NIST MBA Admission Dates 2026
NIST MBA admission dates depend on the important dates related to the accepted entrance exams. The institute accepts the exam scores of CAT, MAT, XAT and OJEE for MBA admissions. NIST MBA Admission 2026: How to Apply?
MBA admission at NIST is a multi-step process. It includes the online application, entrance exam, physical reporting and fee payment. The steps included in the process of NIST admissions for its MBA programme are discussed below in detail:
STEP 1: MBA Registration & Application Process
The first step is to visit the official NIST website and apply for MBA admission at https://admission.nist.edu/application-form. Before applying, candidates will have to submit a registration form containing basic details related to them. They can then proceed to fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents and an application fee of INR 400. For offline application, candidates need to visit the campus of the institute & submit the hard copy of the application form. Additionally, candidates must register for one of the accepted entrance exams.
STEP 2: NIST MBA Selection Process
The institute selects students for its MBA programme based on their performance in the accepted entrance exams. 70% of the total seats are filled through OJEE counselling. 15% of the total seats are filled through other accepted exams, namely CAT, MAT and XAT.
STEP 3: Physical Reporting and Fee Payment
Shortlisted candidates must report at the NIST campus for document verification. The final step in the admission process is to submit the NIST fees to confirm the admission. To confirm their admission to NIST's MBA programme, candidates must submit the admission seat confirmation fee of INR 15,000. This fee will later be adjusted in the course fee. Additionally, they must submit a refundable security deposit of INR 5,000. It must be noted that the mentioned fees are sourced from the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. The total number of MBA seats at NIST is 120. 15% of the total seats are reserved for admissions under the NRI category. 70% of the seats are to be filled through OJEE.
