The total tuition fee for NLU Kolkata BSc LLB (Hons) is INR 3.7 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates need to pay the fee for confirmation of seat at the time of admission. Besides, candidates also need to register for BA LLB (Hons) with CLAT application fee. 

Aspirants need to pass Class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate to apply for NUJS BSc LLB (Hons) programme. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for BSc LLB (Hons). There is no age limit to take up the CLAT exam. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, aspirants must also pass CLAT exam for admission in BSc LLB (Hons) course.

The WB National University of Juridical Sciences does not offer direct admission. Candidates need to qualify the accepted entrance exams for admission. The university considers CLAT score for admission to BA LLB (Hons), BSc LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. NLU Kolkata conducts an entrance test for admission to LLD, MSc and PhD courses. Selected candidates need to participate in the counselling round for admission.

The closing rank in 2024 for the BA LLB (Hons) course stood at 262 in Round 1 and 279 in the last round of CLAT cutoff for the general AI category candidates. For the LLM programme, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 452 and 620.

NLU Kolkata accepts the CLAT entrance exam for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) and BSc LLB (Hons) courses at the undergraduate level. On the other hand, for LLM, NUJS cutoff 2023 closed at 787, while in 2022 it closed at 538  (R4), which is slightly lower than the previous year and in 2021 at 418.

The WB National University of Juridical Sciences applications for UG and LLM courses is via CLAT. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) usually starts the registration by July.
