NLU Kolkata accepts the CLAT entrance exam for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) and BSc LLB (Hons) courses at the undergraduate level. NUJS CLAT cutoff 2025 for Round 1 is out for different categories of students in the All India and Home State quotas. For the AI quota, the CLAT first round cutoff 2025 for BA LLB (Hons) and BSc. LLB (Hons) courses stood at 285 and 652, respectively. For the HS quota, the cutoff rank for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course was 1049, while for the BSc. The eligibility criteria for MSc course at NLU Kolkata (NUJS) - The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences requires the candidates to Pass BSc/ (Hons) with Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Computer Science / BSc LLB or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate (5% relaxation in aggregate for SC/ ST).

NLU Kolkata cutoff 2024 for BA LLB (Hons.), BSc LLB (Hons) and LLM admission is based on the CLAT score, followed by the CLAT Counselling. The closing rank in 2024 for the BA LLB (Hons) course stood at 262 in Round 1 and 279 in the last round of CLAT cutoff for the general AI category candidates.
