National Law University Odisha offers a five year-integrated BBA LLB programme that combines training in law with knowledge of the social sciences. NLU Odisha offers a total of 60 seats for admission to BBA LLB, out of which a total of 43 seats are reserved for General category. The admissions are based on CLAT score. For admission to BBA LLB course at NLU Odisha candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT counselling will be called by NLU Odisha through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. 

NLU Odisha BBA LLB admission 2024 is done through CLAT. For admission through CLAT candidates have to submit the application fee, other than the course fee. For General /OBC /PWD /PIO /OCI /NRI category candidates, the application fee is INR 4,000 and for SC /ST /BPL category candidates, the application fee is INR 3,500. Candidates who qualify for CLAT are required to pay fee for their respective courses, which includes various components such as tuition fee, examination fee, security deposit, hostel charges (if applicable), etc.   

The tuition fee for the BA LLB course at BMS College of Law is INR 3.8 lakh. Whereas,  the tuition fees for the BA LLB course at the National Law University Odisha is INR 6 lakh. Hence, BMS College of Law is more economical for BA LLB courses. However, to choose the better option among both of these colleges, aspirants must consider several other parameters too, such as eligibility criteria, placement packages, number of seats available,  alumni data, and others. Please note that the above-mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. CLAT 2025 dates for admission to NLU Odisha are out.  Only students who fill out the application form as well as, pay the fee are issued admit cards to appear for CLAT exam 2025. Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT 2025 application form. Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, candidates have to attempt questions from English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Mathematics for UG course, and from Constitutional Law, and other law subjects like Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR. Candidates who are willing to get into NLU Odisha for five-year LLB course must specific the desired course in the application form.

The NIRF does not release its ranking based on any single course performance, such as BA LLB, the ranking is done as per the overall performance of all law courses, offered by the university. However, according to the NIRF ranking 2024, NLU Odisha (NLUO) ranks #26 in the 'Law' category. It holds a status equivalent to the most prestigious universities such as RGNUL, and BHU for the NIRF 'Law' category rankings.
