NLU Odisha offers a total of 60 seats for admission to BBA LLB, out of which a total of 43 seats are reserved for General category. The admissions are based on CLAT score. For admission to BBA LLB course at NLU Odisha candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT counselling will be called by NLU Odisha through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists.

For General /OBC /PWD /PIO /OCI /NRI category candidates, the application fee is INR 4,000 and for SC /ST /BPL category candidates, the application fee is INR 3,500. Candidates who qualify for CLAT are required to pay fee for their respective courses, which includes various components such as tuition fee, examination fee, security deposit, hostel charges (if applicable), etc.

Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT 2025 application form. Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, candidates have to attempt questions from English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Mathematics for UG course, and from Constitutional Law, and other law subjects like Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR. Candidates who are willing to get into NLU Odisha for five-year LLB course must specific the desired course in the application form.
