For admission to BBA LLB course at NLUO candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2026 counselling will be called by NLUO through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Those, who have been allotted a seat in the NLU Orissa Provisional Allotment Lists, must complete the process of exercising any one of the actions mentioned below:Accept the allotted seatApply for ReviseExit from the CLAT admission processIf alloted seat is accepted by the candidate. After, that the candidates need to report to NLU Odisha for admission. The admission confirmation requires, documents submission and fees submission by the candidates through the official portal of NLU Odisha.

Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT 2025 application form. Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, candidates have to attempt questions from English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Mathematics for UG course, and from Constitutional Law, and other law subjects like Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR. Candidates who are willing to get into NLU Odisha for five-year LLB course must specific the desired course in the application form.

Yes, NLU Odisha offers one-year postgraduate programme in LLM course i.e., divided into two semesters and offered in full-time mode. The Course comprises three foundation/ compulsory papers (three credits each), six optional/ specialisation Papers (two credits each) to be notified in each semester, and a dissertation (three-credits). Admission to this course is based on the scores secured in the CLAT entrance test followed by the counselling conducted by CNLU for final seat allotment.

NLU Odisha does not provide direct admission to students. Students have to pass the qualifying exam and entrance tests for admission and selection. For admission applicants must have graduated from an authorized university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD). They need to have a valid CLAT entrance exam score. Candidates who meet the requirements must show up for the CLAT-PG Entrance exam. The NLU consortium announced the cutoff for NLU Odisha LLM Admission based on the results of the CLAT-PG entrance test. In order to gain admission, candidates who met the qualifying cutoff points in the CLAT exam may take part in the counseling process. Admission to NLUO LLM will be granted to the shortlisted candidates.
