The university conducts Presidency’s Design Entrance Test (PDET) for providing admission to BDes course. Apart from the entrance exam, the university also considers Statement of Purpose (SOP). The shortlisted candidates are further called for PI round. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. BDes is a four-year course offered by the School of Design, Presidency University. The course is offered in six specialisations, namely Game Design, Communication Design, Space Design, Fashion Design, Product Design and Multimedia. Candidates who have passed pre-university/ higher secondary/ Class 12 with Arts, Commerce or Science stream with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category and SC/ ST, Category -1 and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category students from Karnataka) can apply for BDes course.
