PRIST (deemed-to-be) University offers freeships/scholarships to students enrolled in its UG-level programmes. These scholarships are meant to benefit the students belonging to the economically weaker sections of society. The university also award scholarships to the wards of faculty/non-teaching staff enrolled in PRIST courses. Other scholarships and financial assistance available for students purusing undegraduate programmes at PRIST are listed below:

• Book bank facility for meritorious and economically backward students
• Intramural grant for the Student Innovation Projects
• Scholarship for the UG & PG students for winning Prizes at National International conferences for paper/poster presentation, in the form of sanctioning deputations
• Scholarships for meritorious and economically backward students.
• A scholarship of merit of INR 10, 000 (via DD) is awarded to the toppers of the university examinations at all the levels of different PRIST UG courses

As per Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology Engineering and Management NIRF reports 2024, the median package offered during BTech and MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 4.34 LPA and INR 4 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 48 students were placed and 4 students opted for higher studies out of total 59 students during MBA placements 2023. Other than this, 159 students were placed and 21 students opted for higher studies out of total 198 students during BTech placements 2023. B.Tech- 1.5 L - 8.1 L with 45 percent in graduation

MBA- 1.1 L - 2 L along with 50 percent in graduation

Msc- 14 K - 48 K with 50 percent in graduation

MCA- 65 K and graduation 50 percent
