MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - Batch of 2017
Offered by KVG Dental College and Hospital
2.2
The college is located in a remote area.
Placements: No placement after course completion. As a student, you are posted in different locations. No stipend is paid to postgraduates. Only the intern is paid at college. The stipend is very low. Exposure is very limited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Sports facility is poor. Hostel food quality is average. Generator facilities are available in the department.
Faculty: HOD of the department is very good. He takes a lot of effort to make the concepts clear. He is very knowledgeable. He teaches the theory with clarity and gives a free hand to learn in the operation theatre.
Other: Facilities are not much as the college lies in a small town. The connectivity is also poor.

MDS in Periodontics - Batch of 2021
Offered by Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital
3.0
I am satisfied with our current university.
Placements: Our university does not give campus placements, and there is no option of campus recruitment in the medical field. After completing their graduation or post-graduation, students sit for all India interviews for government sector jobs, or they open their private practice.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not well-maintained. It is one of the oldest dental institutions which is established in the city of Bangalore, and it is serving a lot of patients successfully. There is a scope of improvement in the infrastructure and maintenance of the hospital set up.
Faculty: Teachers are a bit less cooperative, but post-graduation life has a lot of struggles. Students are giving their best attempts towards the project and all the assignments, and they are putting maximum efforts to excel and do well to serve patients. Teachers need to put a little more efforts.
Other: I wanted to complete my post-graduation, and due to my enthusiasm and interest towards course, I joined in it.
