No, RK University does not provide a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering; instead, it offers Computer Engineering. Which is also the same as CSE, but the primary distinction between the two is that CSE focuses more on software than hardware, whilst CE is more focused on electrical topics. As a result, there are significant differences between the two, so you should make your decision appropriately. But perhaps in the future they will offer CSE, as it is currently CE exclusively. In total, 252 companies took part in the recruitment drive and made a total of 2792 job offers in different sectors. The highest recruiting sector was IT, ITES & Communication with a share of 28%. In Gujarat, Marwadi University is regarded as one of the best engineering schools. It provides an engaging, multidisciplinary, and practical education. It received the highest possible score of A+ from the NAAC committee, out of all of Gujarat. RKU has an effective infrastructure that meets modern and traditional needs. It has an above 80% placement rate each year with an overall placement rate around 90% in 2023. It can be a good college for computer engineering or IT engineering.
The Gujarat Common admission Test (GUJCET) or JEE Mains are the admission exams used to determine the candidates for this course. The B.Tech course requires students to have taken the GUJCET in order to be admitted. Passing Class 12 in relevant stream and from a recognised board is only neccessary. After the GUJCET and JEE Main results counselling is done during which you can apply for various B.Tech courses based on your exam scores.
In B.Tech Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering have120 seats. While IT and Electrical have 60 seats capacity. However, more than 5000 students study from different streams. It is considered one of the top universities in Gujurat for engineering. The program is designed to meet industrial and research needs, as well as the rapid development in the IT industry. The curriculum includes coursework, projects, electives, seminars, and a final semester dedicated to an industrial project. Students spend the entire eighth semester in an IT company and do a project. The program is supported by well-equipped laboratories consisting of state-of-the-art servers and computers. The faculty members are well qualified and experienced, and almost all of them are actively involved in research.
