Seacom Skills University (SSU) offers a range of government scholarships to its students. There are approximately 12 types of scholarships available at SSU, and many students, especially those from economically weaker backgrounds or with physical disabilities, are taking advantage of these opportunities. Seacom Skills University - SSU accepts JEE Mains as well as WBJEE entrance exam scores for admission in regular B.Tech courses. For Integrated Diploma + B.Tech the college accepts Class 10th CBSE boards result. Totake admission in B. Pharma it is WBJEE exam which needs to be given. For taking admission in BA in Seacom Skills University - SSU it accepts WBCHSE exam score.

There are many factors which comes into play in comparison as some universities are good at one thing, while others at some other things, So the answer might change as one's preferences and priorities change from person to person.

SSU is relatively new as it came into the picture in 2004 whereas AOT was established in 2003, so AOT is older and much more likely to have a good alumni status among other things. SSU is relatively bigger with about 50 acres of campus compared to AOTs have 10.66 Acres, So SSU is bigger. AOT is relatively slightly cheaper when it comes to BTech by a small margin. So that does also play a role in comparison.

Seacom Skills University does not refund fee at all as fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. This is the college policy. It includes Admission fee of Rs 10 thousand as well as semester fee. 

The total semester fee is 36000*6 and Rs 10000 one time admission. It also charges 1000 Rs exam fee.

Over 100 recruiters participated at the placement drives held by Seacom Skills University in 2023. The recruiters who came for placements were from well-known businesses like Byjus, India Mart, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI, Aditya Birla Group, PNB Met Life etc. More than 100 companies have participated extensively offering 100 percent placement to its students. Overall Students placement rating given has been 4.2. 

The application charge for B.Tech program at Seacom Skills University is 10,000 rupees. This is actually the admission fees which is not refundable. Apart from this 36 thousand is the semester fee appx for most of the courses at Seacom Skills University.

This university offers 48 courses. For all the courses minimum graduation score is 50% aggregate.
