Shobhit University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2024

Shobhit University offers a four-year BTech programme in nine different specialisations. Some of these specialisations include, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, BTech in Biomedical Engineering, BTech in Biotechnology, etc. Shobhit University BTech admission 2024 is entrance-based for the academic year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to Shobhit University BTech must meet the minimum eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 from any approved board with a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCM/ PCB. Candidates who have passed a three-year Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical examination of a State Government, or have passed the BSc degree examination from a recognized University with at least 60% marks and passed the Class 12 examination with Mathematics as a subject may be admitted directly to second year of BTech programme.

Absolutely good college, good placement chances, best faculty, really good infrastructure.

Placements: Most of the students get placements. The highest package in our college is around 12 lacs per annum, and the lowest is around 3 lacs per annum. TCS and Wipro are the top recruiting companies. Almost 50% of students got internships in our course. The top roles offered are full-stack developer and data analyst.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Labs are large and newly built. Classrooms are clean and have smart boards. The library is big and has many books for students. The hostel is very clean, and the mess and canteen food is very good. There are good medical facilities and a big playground for every student.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and all are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are neither very difficult nor very easy. The pass percentage is almost 80%.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a full-stack developer. The best thing about my course is that it helps me achieve my goal. My course is good, but if I could improve it, I would add more coding languages and practical skills. Every semester, there are many different events, like fresher parties, hackathons, and cultural activities.

The best college in our district.

Placements: Students who passed their B.Tech last year have been placed in good companies. All the students get good packages. All the students get placed in very good companies. Students do internships in 6-7th semester with good stipends.

Infrastructure: We have many labs in our campus and they all are fully Wi-Fi connected. The food in both mess and canteen is very good in quality. The college conducts sports and games in every 2-3 months. Our college also conducts a programme named "NAVRANG" in which different types of activities are performed like dance, acting, games, etc.

Faculty: All the teachers are very qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are not difficult because if you prepare for the exams then you can do your exams. It all depends on your preparation. Semester exams are not tough. No need to worry if you are well prepared.

Honest review of Shobhit University .

Placements: 30% of students were selected for placement from my course. The highest package was 1,200,000, and the average package was 500,000. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Google, HTC, and HP. 80% of students got internships from the course at HP. There are many roles in my course, requiring various skills.

Infrastructure: All faculty members are very friendly and cooperative. The infrastructure is average. Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are available on campus. Hostel facilities, including food, are below average. The canteen is also below average. Medical facilities are not provided on campus. Sports playgrounds are available, but no specific coaching is provided.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and qualified, holding PhDs. Semester exams are very easy because everything is studied in the classroom, making them easy to pass. Faculty members use their own teaching styles to help students understand everything easily.

Other: I chose this school because I wanted to become an engineer, specifically a software engineer. I want to see improvements on campus, like better canteen facilities and sports availability, with sports teachers who can teach about different sports.

The college is good because it is in my hometown.

Placements: There is no placement service, if you want to take the admission then be sure you are confident to get the job without any help from the college side. There is a poor facility of the placements. I was the member of the placement cell of this college, but still, I am seeking a job for myself. If you got any placement from the college side, those companies are fraud, so be careful to take admission in this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good. The building is in C-shape, with the big ground. There are all the facilities on the campus. There is a big library, week Wi-Fi facility, a large solar panel which provides the electricity continuously. There is a good security for safety. All the sports activities and the facilities are provided to the students. The management is good.

Faculty: BA, BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech, LLB, Polytechnic, BAMS, B.Parmacy, M.Tech, PhD are the courses available on the campus. The fee structure is moderate, and the scholarships are provided. The faculty members are good, well-qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable about their subjects.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements in 2014.

Placements: The placements in the college were very poor. None of the biggest recruitment company came in the campus at that time. Only one startup company came during 2014 at the time of my placements ie rightwave. There were no internship opportunity provided at that time.

Infrastructure: The area of the campus are spreaded into approximately 10 acres of land which includes three towers, cafe, two hostels (one for boys and one for girls), playgrounds. There is also a big library where every time study material are also available. Wi-Fi also available and the campus are totally decentralised exclude computer labs and library.

Faculty: The teachers are in the college are very good and knowledgeable. They always trying to resolve every problem of the student in the particular subjects and the topics. They also give the right practical knowledge which is very beneficial for the student career. The teachers are very cooperative and kind in nature.
