If you are looking for a bright future, I suggest you should visit Silver Oak Institute of Science.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my college is mostly 70–80 percent. The package offered is around 10–15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Intas and Cadila. The college offers very good internship opportunities. They are paid as well.
Infrastructure: Labs in the college are well-equipped.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are qualified with a Ph.D. and hold good positions. The course is interesting. It is directly related to my studies. If we study and attend lectures regularly, exams are not very difficult. They are understandable. Faculty members are very friendly and understanding. They are always ready to help whenever we need it. They keep informing students about opportunities. They always support us in growing and improving.
Other: I chose Bachelor’s in Microbiology because I was interested in microorganisms. I had a hobby of observing baking. The way cake rises and becomes fluffy always fascinated me. While studying microbiology, I learned the science behind it. It is very interesting.

In short, the experience was excellent.
Placements: From the recent passed-out batch, 75 to 80% of students got placed. In my college, approximately 80 to 85% of students get internships from my course. There are many national and international companies, and many top roles are offered by my college.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided. Labs are available to perform practical work individually. Classroom environment is also comfortable for studying. In the library, all types of books are available. The environment is calm and comfortable.
Faculty: Teachers are very humble and helpful. They are highly qualified and give complete knowledge about our subjects. The semester exams are very difficult, but faculty teach us completely so that we understand everything. They also solve our doubts.
Other: I chose this course to gain more practical knowledge about life sciences. It is very helpful in gaining knowledge for our daily life.

Good faculty, supportive environment, but disappointing placements and outdated curriculum.
Placements: It is one of the weaknesses of this college. In the name of placement they provide nothing. No placement cell or any placement activity. Most students have to find opportunities by themself only and half of the students opt for higher studies. A few companies that you can count on fingers in the name of placement and they hire students at 2 LPA-3 LPA offers in cities like Ahmedabad. Don't ever join this college for the sake of placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good with a decent campus and clean classrooms. There are a few major limitations. The college does not provide hostel facilities most of the students are from Ahmedabad only and those who are not from there live in PG ( mostly Rs. 7,000- Rs. 8,000 per month) and others in shared flat (5-6 students per flat), and a few live in a government hostel called Samras hostel. There is no Wi-Fi access for students, Wi-Fi is only for administrative use. The institute does not have its own library.
Faculty: The best part of this college is undoubtedly its faculty. Most professors are highly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely supportive. They guide students not only academically but also personally helping with internships and clarifying complex concepts with patience. Their humility and willingness to help make the environment feel almost like a family. The major drawback lies in the curriculum. It feels outdated and not aligned with current industry needs. Many subjects still focus on traditional concepts rather than practical, industry-relevant skills, which limits how well prepared students are for today's competitive business environment.
Other: To be honest, I joined this college for my Diploma because my 10th marks were not very high, and this was among the best available options. I started with the hope of securing a decent placement after completing my Diploma, but that expectation was not met. While my three years at the college were overall good and full of learning experiences, the placement outcome was disappointing. After completing my Diploma, I did not receive the kind of opportunities I had anticipated, which has affected my career trajectory.

My personal experience with college and hostel is excellent.
Placements: 80 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 14 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Intas Pharma, Sun Pharma, Cadilla, Zydus, Piramal, etc. Almost all the students get internships, like 90 percent and the companies are Intas Pharma, Sun Pharma, Zydus, and Piramal. Roles offered are quality assurance and analysis.
Infrastructure: We have a 3-storey library with a separate reading space. Our campus is a Wi-Fi campus, our labs have good quality of chemicals, and our classrooms are fully modern and fully ventilated. I live in a hostel and our rooms have air conditioning. Our wardens are very cooperative. Talking about the food provided in our mess, it is very tasty, healthy, and hygienic. Our college has its own sports facility center including multiple areas for sports.
Faculty: The teaching qualities are good, they are well-qualified from the industry too. They have much knowledge about the field. The course curriculum is definitely more relevant. It also makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are practical-based exams the questions are related to topics explained in classrooms. The pass percentage is 90-95 percent in our field.

Placements: Currently more than 80 percent of students got placed from my course. The average package a student gets is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the highest is 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Cadila, Airtel, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Reliance Industries, Aimbrill Techinfo, Sahara Axisray, etc. Almost every student from my batch this year got an internship in different companies and fields one of them is Sahara Axisray, in which I got an internship as a Cloud Development Intern.
Infrastructure: Overall the facilities are good according to a private university. They have top-quality updated software which makes us easy to understand and work on it. Especially they have the Applied Lab and IEEE SB which makes it unique and special. We also have a huge canteen with healthy and top-quality affordable food which makes it easy for students to buy and eat. Currently we don't have a boys hostel inside the campus but we do have girls hostel inside the campus AC and non AC both types of room available. The hostel has indoor games and a mess facility.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and coordinating, they are well qualified and knowledgeable, and they also share with us their journey through this which makes it easy for us to tackle the situations. They have nice behaviour and share very nice teaching qualities. The curriculum is definitely relevant and it does make us industry-ready as we have 2 hours of industry expert lectures every day which makes us different. The passing percentage in this college is 90-95 percent and the end sem exams have moderate but practical types of questions.

Average college life but value for money because of placements.
Placements: Almost all students who maintain good CGPA and have industry level skills are placed. Last year, 86% of students who passed the selection criteria were hired. The highest package is 13 LPA, average package is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for computer students are Micron, Rest, Deloitte, Adani, etc. Top roles offered to computer students are mostly junior software developers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for computer course is average. Facilities like labs, library, Wi-Fi, etc., are fine. There is no sports and games culture, and also there is no playground for sports. There are many canteens available for students on the campus. Don't expect any sports activities here.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are top-notch, and very few of them are average. Curriculum is up to date and matches industry standards. We are taught modern usage programming languages like python in our course. Semester exams are relatively easy compared to other similar colleges.
