- A candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) examination with English, Physics, and any one of the subjects from Group-II (Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Computer Science).
- The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Backward Class candidates from Maharashtra State) in Physics, Mathematics, and the subject of maximum marks amongst the four subjects of Group-II.
- Diploma holders with a minimum of 50% marks in any branch of Engineering/Technology are also eligible for admission to the first year of the Bachelor of Technology degree program.
- Admissions are centralized by DTE.

For admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology at SNDT Mumbai for reserved category students, the candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects, all the subjects mentioned under Group-I (Physics and Mathematics), and any one of the subjects from Group-II (Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, or Computer Science). The candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks (45% for Backward Class candidates from Maharashtra State) in Physics, Mathematics, and the subject of maximum marks amongst the four subjects of Group-II, added together.
