Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University, also known as SNDT Women’s University, is a public university located in Mumbai. The University has three campuses, one each in Churchgate, Santacruz and Pune. The Juhu campus has more than 15 professional and technical institutions with eight adjoining buildings.

At the PG level, the University offers 11 different programmes in Science, Management, Pharmacy, Marketing, Technology and more. Admission to all these programmes begins in March every year. A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline to apply for these programmes. The course-wise selection and eligibility criteria are given below.

MSc is a full-time two-year programme offered in 11 different specialisations. The programme is spread across four semesters. Candidates who have done graduation in the relevant stream can apply for MSc. MSc Food Science & Nutrition and MSc Textile Science & Apparel Design admissions are based on MAH CET exam followed by Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) whereas, admission to other specialisations is done on merit basis. The University conducts its own entrance test for admission to MSc Home Science: Extension Education. The final selection of candidates will be based on the entrance/ qualifying exam scores and the performance in PI.

Master of Management Studies (MMS) is offered in five different specialisations. The duration of programme is two years and each specialisation has a seat intake of 60 students. Any candidate, who has done bachelor’s in the relevant stream, can apply for this programme. However, the final selection of students will be based on the scores obtained in CMAT. The University offers MPharm in three different specialisations with a total seat intake of 54 students. Each specialisation has a seat intake of 18 students. Candidates, who have done bachelor’s in the relevant discipline with an aggregate of 50%, can apply for MPharm programme. The university accepts GPAT/ MAH CET for MPharm admissions and final selection of students will be based on the scores obtained in any of the entrance exams.

MTech is offered in two specialisations with a course duration of two years. The seat intake of each specialisation is 18 students. Candidates, who have done BE/ BTech in the relevant stream, can apply for this programme. However, the final selection of students will be based on the GATE or MAH CET scores. Apart from the above programmes, the University also offers MA, MEd and MA + MSc with a course duration of two years. MA and MEd are offered in two specialisations, and MA + MSc is offered in eLearning. MA and MA + MSc admissions are done on merit basis whereas, MEd admissions are based on MAH CET scores. Any candidate who has done graduation in the relevant stream can apply for these programmes. The final selection of students will be based on the entrance/ qualifying exam scores.
