Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Vanita Vishram Women’s University

I was highly satisfied because everything in my university was good.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students got placed, but I was not sure because this was a girls’ university, and many girls chose to work while some did not want to. My course was B. Com (Hons), and the highest package offered was around 5–7 LPA. The lowest package offered was around 1–2 LPA, and the average was around 2–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course were in banking, IT, industries, education, and coaching. The university provided internship opportunities to everyone, and many students were selected in various sectors, mainly in chartered accountancy firms.
Infrastructure: Every department had its own campus, and each campus had a good number of classrooms. There was one common library for everyone, which was very good. Students could find all types of books and a quiet place to study. Hostels were also very good. I had never stayed in a hostel, but my friends stayed there and gave good reviews. The dorms had good facilities, and food and medical facilities were also nice.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and supportive. They held degrees in their respective subjects and provided proper knowledge of the course and ethics. The B.Com (Hons.) curriculum at VVWU was highly relevant, focusing on advanced accounting, taxation, and auditing. Papers were difficult, but the way teachers taught made it easier to pass. The pass percentage was almost 90 percent. Students gave their 100 percent effort and cleared their exams.
Other: There were approximately 400 B.Com (Hons.) students, divided into three classes. I chose this course because I was interested in accounting and taxation. The best part of my course was learning everything in one program, including management, accounting, costing, banking, law, tax, and GST. The only downside was that there were not many vacancies for this course, and salaries were limited. To get better opportunities, one needed another degree or certification.

Excellent faculty, strong placements, and good infrastructure.
Placements: In our course in data science, we get placements and internship form top companies like Colgate, Infosys, Deloitte, Publicis Sapient, etc. Also, it depends on your academic performance and CGPA. The packages offered are around 2-3 LPA to 12 LPA. Around 40 to 45% students got placed in the last 2 years, on campus, and many students got placed off campus placements and internships. The top roles offered are data analyst, data science role, data-related roles, and software developer role, IT related depends GPA.
Infrastructure: I would have rated 5. The infrastructure is very good. It has completed construction too, 5 floors with an auditorium, foyer, and working labs. The college is very big, surrounded by greenery. Most of the time, there is a network issue in labs as well. You can also participate in events, hackathons, programs, and join council members. Apart from academic, other events, sports, and arts are also given importance. Students can participate in various sports university level. The hostel is about average.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is nice, they help you with not just academics but also other doubts related to technicals programmings, hackathons, or ongoing projects, etc. The curriculum is relevant and make student industry ready. There are units in each semester that are above average difficulty, and 50% for passing grade. The faculty is also very knowledgeable, they guide you with your studies or other doubts.
Other: The data science field is an emerging field now. There are many new things to learn. It has a lot of scope, but more exposure to the industry should be given, so placements will be improved. There are many events organized in college related to hackathon and, programs, and also college sports and the college annual day. The campus is not very crowded. There are many other colleges on campus. It's very big, surrounded by greenery. There are scholarships. Deutsche Bank's scholarship for girls, Mahadbt, Catalysts scholarships, and many others. Extracurricular activities like sports, arts competitions, dance, dramas, and Utsav are also held.

Best college with trusted.
Placements: Smt. Maniben M. P Shah College of Arts and Commerce for Women has good placements given from the Bafi Bachelor of accounting finance and Insurance department. They are 100 percent trusted for the placement. Students get placement at bank etc. That helps students to get more information about banks, insurance and finance.
Infrastructure: There are many courses in the college. College has many circular activities for the students. There are game facilities for indoor and outdoor games like badminton, chess, carrom, cricket and etc. The library is also very big and offers lots of books and in the library there are computers to find information or for presentations.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Always help us with our doubts till we are clear. Their teaching style is so interesting that we dont feel bored and fall asleep in class. Teachers take the revision and byheart in the classroom itself. Always try to encourage students to pass the exam with a double percentage.
Other: The placement is 100 percent. Improve our marks from last semester. Give a scholarship facility. Has lots of competition in activities and studies. The course is the advance which I am pursuing undergraduate.

Usha Mittal Institute Of Technology (SNDT Women's University).
Placements: 70-80 percent of students got placed every year. The highest package is 32 LPA by Visa, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA by mass recruiters. Top companies are Visa, Deutsche Bank, Oracle, Barclays, Bank of America, Deloitte, Infosys, etc. Only 10 students get the internship though in third year but almost 30-40 percent of students get internships in fourth year of college in companies like GE Aerospace, Colgate, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is good. It's newly renovated. They have a hostel too. It's four sharing and two sharing occupancies. The mess food is average. College has a gym too. They have a basketball court but not many facilities for other sports. You can play badminton in the foyer.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The curriculum is good. Lectures are conducted regularly. Semester exams are moderately difficult. You can pass it easily if you study for the last 2 weeks before the exams. The things that come on paper are taught.
Other: I chose B.Teach IT because of the subjects and the good placement opportunity. The fest is called Arcane Illusions, which happens in March. It has many celebrities visiting. There are many scholarships provided, like Smile Foundation, Katalyst, and Mhadbt.

Where you will find the three teachers you wanted.
Placements: These years, many girl students from different states took admission in Usha Mittal for B.Tech programme. Nearly 80 percent of the students got placed in my course. It is an autonomous college. The academics are pretty chill. 32 LPA is the highest package offered for the CST branch, while 12 LPA could be the average. Companies like Infosys, Visa, Bank of America, and many more have their placement interview here. From the CST branch, almost 80 percent of students get placed in a few good companies. Talking about roles offered, companies like Visa and Infosys do hire students for their highest package.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi for three students. But 40 percent of the college is under renovation right now. The classrooms are clean and sufficient for the students. The canteen serves tasty food at affordable prices. Sports and extracurricular activities are also supported. The library is quite small for such a big college, but it's clean and has all the resources required.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful also while clearing the doubts. The curriculum is also quite easy and not too difficult. The questions in the semester are from the faculty who taught, so they are also quite average. The college prioritizes attendance, so they give marks based on attendance as well. The passing percentage is 75 percent.
Other: I am interested in coding, so I chose this course. Also, UMIT has better placement for this course. Further, the college hosts many events, as its fest is one of the coolest. It encourages girls to be a part of the event and also to pave the path.

Great college, decent feel, easy life, and good placements.
Placements: Software Developer, Software Analyst, Software Engineer, etc., are jobs you can expect here. The placement is quite good. You can see a variety of companies here. The highest package this year is 36 LPA, the lowest is 4.4 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is decent, not too fancy, but it has 6 labs, 2–3 libraries, a basketball court, clean washrooms, etc. The canteen is also decent. Medical facilities are good. The college has its own sports council, and activities are encouraged here, so no need to worry about that.
Faculty: The exams are moderately difficult. If you have good attendance, notes, and assignments, you can score 8–9 pointers easily. It's not that tough. You just need some focus. Compared to other colleges, the exams are easier. The portion is also doable.
Other: The campus has its own fest, Arcanes. It's very big. The college is famous for its fashion show team; they win all over Mumbai.
