Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2023
3.8

My college experience and my opinion.
Placements: In our batch, out of 120 students, 90 to 95 are getting jobs. Most of the students are getting jobs in good companies like Accenture, Wipro, Zomato, TCS, Swiggy, etc. The highest package offered by Accenture is 9 LPA, and the lowest package offered by Wipro is 3 LPA. For our course, the college is not offering any internships.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is too big. Inside the campus, they provide all kinds of facilities like a big central library, gym, food court, and both indoor and outdoor games. The college campus is a full Wi-Fi campus with smart classrooms. Hostels are inside the college and they provide a Wi-Fi facility inside the hostels. They provide typical North Indian food in the hostel, and the food quality is also good.
Faculty: The teachers have good quality teaching skills, and some teachers help students related to placement. Those who are weak in communication and academic performance get guidance. The teachers prepare students before placement for all companies. The semester exams are not very difficult to pass; most regular students pass the semester exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in technical courses. In my course, they teach the subjects that I am interested in.

The real truth of Siksha 'O' Anusandhan.
Placements: The university has a placement section, but not everyone has the proper knowledge about it. If you are not a third-year student, then you can learn more details about the placement process at the campus. Most of the senior prefer and advise to the juniors to take placement outside the campus. The internship programme is also not very active. The university does not provide any proper data about the highest, the lowest, or the average package obtained by any students in their placement process.
Infrastructure: The university also provides free Wi-Fi to all the students and faculty members. The classrooms are highly advanced, and smart classrooms are provided to all the branch students. The library contains well-stocked essential books and papers required for academic purposes. I am not a hosteller, so I don't have any idea of the hostel facilities and mess hygiene.
Faculty: The faculty here mostly young blood. All the teachers are highly skilled, but due to a lack of experience, they fumble most of the time, but it is acceptable because who am I to judge anyone. The course curriculum here is quite helpful for my field and helps me to do more analysis about agriculture and related topics. Mostly, my course can be completed through practical study, and I have a good number of teachers to help me understand the topics of agriculture. The semester exams are held twice an academic year, and in between the campus also conducts 2 mid-semester. The course here is up to date. The books that the teachers prefer are the latest edition, and most of the teacher notes are very helpful for the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I think there is a huge potential and future in this branch. The best thing is that I can know more about the land where I have born. I prefer interactive teaching which my branch teachers lack. The main reason is that the inexperienced carry and they are directly recruited to a big university. That is part which can be improved. The college crowd mostly mind their own business, which I kind of liked. The fests are very rare. The university conducts 2 to 3 fests in a year.

M.Ch. in Neuro Surgery - Batch of 2029
Offered by Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital - Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University
4.6
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Strong academics, but a few areas can be improved.
Placements: The placement percentage is generally high because most students get absorbed into reputed hospitals. The highest package for neurosurgery specialists is usually very good. The lowest and average vary depending on whether the student chooses a private hospital, academic positions, or fellowships. Top recruiting options include multispecialty hospitals, medical colleges, and neurosurgery centers. A decent percentage of students also secure internships, observerships, or fellowships in renowned hospitals and institutes, which helps build strong clinical exposure. The top roles offered are Neurosurgery Specialist, Senior Resident, Consultant Neurosurgeon, and Fellowship Trainee in subspecialties.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. Most of them explain concepts clearly. The teaching quality is overall good. The curriculum is relevant and covers important industry-oriented topics, which helps students become well-prepared for future opportunities. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but if you attend classes and study regularly, they are manageable. The pass percentage is decent, and most students clear the exams without major issues. So overall the academic experience is good.
Other: Strong academics and supportive faculty with good clinical exposure. Excellent facilities and hands-on training make it an overall good experience. Quality teaching and solid clinical opportunities in neurosurgery.

The originality of Siksha 'O' Anusandhan.
Placements: We have a placement section in our university, but not many students are aware of it. I, too, have no idea about how the placement system works. I do not know which companies come here to recruit their employees. Most of the students prefer to do an internship and get a job outside the campus. A very small number of students here get the opportunity to be placed by the university.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are way too advanced and very relaxing. The smart board is as big as a normal theatre screen. The classrooms are also very wide and have enough space to keep 90 students. The labs are very clean and tidy. The university also has a big library where all the required and essential books and papers are available. Since I am not a hosteller, I don't know much about the hostel facilities. My hosteller classmates say that the hostel facilities are more than they expected. The rooms are clean and the mess is very hygienic.
Faculty: My branch faculty members are very intelligent and simple in their lives. They are all highly qualified in their field. Most of the teachers prefer visual education for better understanding. The course curriculum is pretty acceptable. To be industry-ready, you must learn a little extra from outside books and papers. The semester exams are a bit tricky, and it is mostly application-based. The pass percentage is quite impressive because all students are clever and all do smart work along with hard
Other: I chose this course because from childhood onwards I had a very keen interest in farming and all the farming stuff. The best thing about choosing this field is knowing the essence of our own soil. The only thing that I would like to change about my course is the book editions. They are a little outdated, but that is not a big concern. The fests and events are not so periodic here, but the university managed to have 2 to 3 fests in a year.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

College is good. You can take admission and have a good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is good. If you are a good student doing amazing in academics with extracurricular knowledge and coding knowledge you will surely get a better placement. Our average placement is 5 to 6 LPA but in 2025 batch we got 10 to 12LPA. Many companies like Infosys Flipkart Amazon TCS etc. B.Tech CSE core is in much demand but if you can take AI ML it will be better. Last year 80 to 90 percent got placement.
Infrastructure: Campus is a little big not that big do not expect that much. Classrooms are not that modern but always clean. Wi-Fi everywhere. Central library is good and it has many facilities. The key building is cafeteria which has 2 cafes 1 salon and a big restaurant and on the ground floor there are many stores like Maggi and more. Labs are clean not that messy and bad looking.
Faculty: Curriculum is good and has developed a modern syllabus. B.Tech in AI ML got Python and Java both languages. Students can get a great idea from this syllabus. Teaching is good but the number of faculty is not that good at teaching although every teacher has graduated from many great colleges.
Other: Do not expect any big fest. The best course to pick is in CSE core. I wish they did more fests events and concerts. Crowd is good as they have alternative time classes. You can get 20+ clubs or societies.

Actual Intention of the SOA University.
Placements: Placements occur in our college. Almost 70% of students get their desired job with a satisfactory salary. The highest package is around 20 LPA, the average is around 6 to 7 LPA, and the lowest is around 5 LPA. An internship system is also available in our university.
Infrastructure: The course is mostly related to the real world and application-based. Facilities provided are neither top-notch nor poor. The buildings are not old and are strong, so they do not break down easily. Labs have sufficient computers, and free Wi-Fi is available for all students. The hostel is good and has enough space to live in. The mess and canteen food is acceptable. The university also provides medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are highly skilled and talented but also very down to earth. The teaching methods are not complicated, and anyone can learn from them. The course curriculum is engaging and keeps you busy most of the time. The semester exams are not very difficult but are quite tricky. They help develop your brain for upcoming challenges.
Other: I chose this because I am not an extraordinary person not a very weak student. I was clear that I cannot pursue higher studies in any big course. I was sure that agriculture is my sure shot. The best thing about the agriculture branch is that it takes you to the land. This helps you understand how to manage land and irrigation.
