High fees, poor hostel life, language barrier, and extreme pressure for students.
Placements: Placement is the only reason some students join this college. Many companies come, and students get good packages, but there is no placement guarantee at all. They bring these companies by paying them money, also, they just fire you after 6 months, as they pay money, so you can get placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure looks good only in photos and rankings. In reality, the campus is overcrowded withuseless buildings and no real campus life or open space. Wi-Fi is terrible (0/10) in both the campus and hostels. Hostel management is very bad. There is no medical support inside the hostels. Even if you are very sick or unable to walk, you have to go to the main gate for medicine. Otherwise, they directly send you to a hospital by ambulance. They do not provide medical facilities for you. The hostel office is not supportive at all.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good and depends on the teachers. Around 60 percent of teachers speak mostly Odia, which became a big language barrier for non-Odia students same problem exists in hostels also due to Odia monopoly coordinators, and all rules and exam policies change at the last moment without proper information. Even when genuine medical issues are ignored, the environment is very stressful and mentally draining. This college tries every possible way to give you backlogs. If you are ill during mid-semester and cannot give the exam, they do not even conduct re-mid (new rule), and you can get a back easily. Pressure stressed random.
Other: I chose this course because a relative said this is a good college. I have an interest in B.Tech CSE, but this college can break you mentally if you are not prepared. Sudden rule changes, language issues, bad hostel management, poor Wi-Fi, and no empathy from authorities make life very difficult, and complaints feel useless. NIRF ranking does not match reality. Online reviews are misleading, so don't trust them blindly. If you are a topper who only wants placement and can ignore college life completely, then you may survive here otherwise, think carefully before joining. Focus only on studies and stay away.

Good college, okay placement.
Placements: There are many students in our batch. In our institute, the highest package was about 12 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are Dell, Wipro, TCS, etc. In our institution, many of the students were hired by TCS and WIPRO. All types of roles are available.
Infrastructure: In our institute, we have smart classrooms with a good internet connection. Our labs and library are very good, and the classrooms are well air-conditioned. Our hostel food is very nice, and we have good sanitation in our hostel. Wi-Fi is available but not too fast.
Faculty: Our institute teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their teaching quality is very good, and we can understand everything as they teach. Subjects like UPM and CALCULUS are quite hard, while UHV and ICP are a little bit easier. As a first year, I don't know the passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in software-related things. In our course, according to me, the best thing is building applications, and also CSE has abundant job opportunities. Improvements such as skill development and problem-solving are encouraged. Our institute gives scholarships to students, and there are many extracurricular activities provided by our college.

Good, but if you do not take the risk of money, then come to study here. Otherwise, very good.
Placements: In this college, the placement rate is above 85%. The top companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Dell, And Flipkart (which comes once this year), etc. The average package is 6 to 7 LPA. Recently, Accenture conducted mass recruitment, taking 300 candidates from ITER and providing packages of 12 LPA to around 77 students of the final year. Generally, companies come for placements around the 5th semester and continue to the last semester. Good, but not like KIIT, Odisha.
Infrastructure: In the case of the hostel, the fees are 1,10,000 for 1 year, and according to it, the food is good in quality and quantity. The hostel infrastructure is also good and study-friendly. The faculty are good. For machine learning, high-quality labs are provided. In the library, the behavior of teachers is good and very friendly. Free medicine and minor treatment are provided by SUM IMS, SOA. No functions are organized by the college except for the annual function, but many smaller events are organized, like robotics camps, the SOA Cup, and many more. It deserves a 5-star rating.
Faculty: According me i seen that many more faculties are graduate from the best institute from the India.and well experienced like 15 to 25 year. Some sir's are also 35 years of experience. Some of the associate professor are not like that but overall teaching quality is good but very fast to complete the syllabus.in the engineering college it very common. I am in first year according to.me the semester is heard level but it is important.
Other: I opted for this course because I am pretty interested in it, and it is a valuable course.

I chose the best inter for real.
Placements: If you study, then you will one hundred percent get a job in our college. 90 percent of students are placed. The average package is 5 LPA. Meanwhile, the highest package is 42 LPA according to current data from Amazon, Infosys, etc top companies visit here.
Infrastructure: The environment is so friendly. There are clean and neat classrooms. There is AC in every single class. The professors are friendly and understanding. The hostel is good, but the mess food is not that great. If you get into the habit, you will learn to adjust. The environment is so friendly.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and understanding in nature. Staff members here create a environment where one should always learn to develop and study. The semester exams in college are not that difficult. Professors made it easy for students by teaching in such a way. Teachers are highly impressive.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE because nowadays its the era of computers and Ais and this is the future.

One of the best things about the university is that ragging is strictly prohibited on campus.
Placements: 85 to 90 percent students are placed in my course. Out of these students, 35 to 40 percent students are in a specialisation course. The highest Package offered is 46 LPA, the average package 6 to 6.5 LPA, the lowest Package offered is 3.3 to 3.5 LPA. High paying recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, PwC, Informatica, ServiceNow, Zscaler, Yugabyte. Mass Recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant GenC/Next, Capgemini, Accenture, and DXC Technology. 60 to 70 percent of students secure internships. Top Roles offered are Software Development Engineer SDE, System Engineer or Analyst, Full Stack Developer, Cloud Support Engineer, Data Analyst or Consultant, and Quality Assurance QA Engineer.
Infrastructure: The biggest relief here is that almost all our classrooms are air-conditioned. For CSE, the labs are pretty solid, and we have dedicated labs. Most PCs have decent i5/i7 processors and run the necessary software without lagging. You get plenty of lab time, but strict attendance is maintained. There are multiple hostels for boys and girls. They are separate. You can choose between AC and Non AC rooms. The rooms are generally clean and tidy. Bathrooms are cleaned daily.
Faculty: Most of our professors hold PhDs or are pursuing them. The syllabus is actually quite updated. We have subjects like AI/ML, Cloud Computing, IoT, and Data Analytics as electives or core subjects in later semesters, which match what companies want. Industry because of the Practice School PS programme. In the final semester 8th sem, you do not have regular classes. You are expected to work in a company internship or do a major industry based project. This bridges the gap significantly.
Other: A 35000 Scholarship is for meticulous students.

Dissatisfied because of job opportunities.
Placements: My college placements are average. Many companies come to our college, but pick very few students every year. Though the college claims 100% placements, that's not the case. Many of my seniors are struggling to get jobs. Academics are good but lack in extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great, but the non-AC hostels are not that good. If you want to stay in good condition, I recommend staying out of the college in a flat or PG. PGs are great there and very cheap. You can find lots of them. The library, Wi-Fi, and canteens are great, and there is no problem there.
Faculty: The faculty members are great, and the subject choices are good with some extra side subjects. The exams are of 30 marks for mid-semester and 60 marks for end-semester. Semester exams are not easy but also not hard; a little bit of study can result in getting more than 8 CGPA. Teachers are knowledgeable and highly educated.
