It is an average college for doing statistics.

Placements: Students from the department of M.Sc. Statistics got hire in various sectors like analytics, marketing and banking. Fractal Analytics, MU Sigma, Wipro are consistent recruiters from the college of S K Somaiya College. The highest pay would be 6.2 LPA for our department.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully ventilated and spacious to hold the overall capacity of the students in speaking situations, especially during the organisation of some events. I'm satisfied with the food systems arranged in our college hostel as well as in the college canteen, which were handled by professional contractors.

Faculty: Higher authorities consequently hire experienced professors, but in our departments teachers are less experienced while compared to other departments. Sometimes the quality of their teaching requires improvisation and need to discuss the concepts from the basic.

Placements: The highest payroll issued to the placed candidates was 17.5 LPA. Based on the skills and knowledge gained through placement training, students were placed in various designations. For entry-level positions, the salary ranged between 3 to 3.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus was secure, and there was a healthy connection between the students. Student counsellors were appointed to provide guidance on academics, placement pressure, and other issues. The canteen area was spacious, neat, and clean, ensuring a hygienic environment.

Faculty: Considering the syllabus difficulty, frequent exams were conducted with different sets of questions. Questions were also borrowed from other institutions and sometimes twisted and modified before being given to the students. With such practice sessions, passing the main exams became much easier.

Placements: Around 40% of students got placed by our college. The highest package offered is around 8.50 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Companies that visit S K Somaiya College are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Hexaware, etc. Top roles offered at S K Somaiya College are business analyst, consultant, and research analyst.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are available for our course like digital monitor, AC classes, projector, LAN Wi-Fi, library, etc. Somaiya is well known for its sports. Our college has a separate building for sports and several courts like a football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, etc. Food is overall good but sometimes you will miss your home food, Somaiya trust also has its own hospital outside campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very kind, and helpful, and have excellent command over subjects which helps students in a better understanding of topics. The course curriculum is very much relevant as I completed my internship and the main thing that I learned in class applied there. Semester exams are easy to moderate level but you have to study for that.

Other: I always wanted to pursue a career in management. I got an offer letter from this college and I accepted the best thing about my course is that it gives you theoretical knowledge of the things which are required in companies where you will be placed after graduation so in my internship I get to know more about the things which I learned in class. I don't think for any improvement in that course everything is just fine, several events are being conducted by several clubs of college and so many students come and enjoy, several scholarships are also offered by college like need and merit B.Ed, etc.

Placements: Placement Rate: Good support for placements; exact rate not specified. Salary: The highest package is INR 8.5 LPA; average around INR 3.5-4 LPA. Top Recruiters: TCS, Accenture, Oracle, Reliance, Infosys, and Deloitte. Internships: 200+ internships, roles in software, analytics, finance, and marketing. Roles Offered: Software development, data analytics, consulting, finance, and marketing.

Infrastructure: S. K. Somaiya College offers smart classrooms, well-equipped computer labs, a rich library, and an auditorium. Separate hostels for boys and girls are well-maintained. Sports facilities include a football field, track, courts, and gym, while a hygienic cafeteria and medical center provide food and healthcare support.

Faculty: At SK Somaiya College, faculty members are well-qualified and supportive, and the curriculum is industry-relevant. Exams are moderately challenging but fair, and the pass rate is generally high. The teaching quality and approachable faculty help students feel well-prepared for careers.

Other: I choose this course for both knowledge of accounts and finance which I can manage. Improve more facilities in finance studies. For activities and events, the college is famous for it.

The best at its best for the best.

Placements: We did not get any placements for the Bachelors in Biotechnology even though it was an honours degree, but we did have placements for the Masters students, which I am not very sure about. However, you can get roles such as researchers, junior analysts, laboratory assistants, and much more.

Infrastructure: There is everything a student might need or may be looking for: a good, green, huge campus with 4 canteens, a library in every building with air conditioning, good teaching staff, good food, a good curriculum, and everything at its best, with pace and ease.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and very knowledgeable. Moreover, the teachers don't believe in partiality and treat everyone equally. Favouritism ends at Somaiya. Also, the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant with what the modern world requires today and for the future.

Review of K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai.

Placements: Btech placements are good, with 10 LPA for Btech, 13 LPA for computers, and 11 LPA for IT. The top roles offered were SDE, with the lowest package being 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Edelweiss. A compulsory internship is there in the college.

Infrastructure: All types, except single sharing, all other options are there in the hostel. WiFi is quite slow, food is good, only vegetarian and Jain options are there, as college follows Gandhian rules and regulations, medical facilities are absent , sports and games in campus is good and they are of Olympic level with proper equipment.

Faculty: The faculty is excellent, especially for computer-related departments and the marking scheme is also very lenient. Scoring good marks in the exam is really easy and not that difficult. The course and curriculum are updated and project-based learning is there.

Other: I chose this course because no other good options were there except this , and placement and exposure I get here are really good.
