Good placements, strong peer group, and overall a nice college life experience.
Placements: SPIT has very good placements, especially for CE and CSE. Most students secure a super dream or elite package. The average package is 14 LPA. The median package is 13 LPA. The highest package is 33 LPA by PhonePe on campus. Recruiting companies are JPMC, Barclays, ISS Stoxx, Nomura, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure has improved a lot recently, as of 2026 we have two canteens, SPIT exclusive inside the college building. All labs and classrooms have AC, and Wi-Fi is available on all floors smoothly. The campus is huge and green and also has a peacock named Bablu.
Faculty: The course is relevant to industry standards. Faculty is very helpful and PhD-level smart. We need 75 percent attendance to be eligible for exams, and a grade of FF to pass the semester in all subjects. The marking is relative to all students therefore, it is a fair evaluation.

SPIT- Gateway to success so the college is the best.
Placements: 100 percent of students got placed from my course. Till now the highest placement offer by the company is 1.1 crore per annum. JPMorgan, Phonepe, Microsoft, and Nvidia are the top recruiters of SPIT. Almost 100 percent of students get research internship. SDE is the top role offered by the company.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels for the college, but Wi-Fi connection and a canteen are available for college students. The quality of the food is very good u2026. Every year, the college committee conducts sports activities as well as games activities for students. There is also a first aid kit in case of any injuries and the watchman keeps his eyes on every student. Each classroom is equipped with AC. Smartboards and projectors are in the classrooms.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very knowledgeable, and the method of teaching is very professional as they prepare students for the future. The syllabus and the curriculum of the college are very relevant as SPIT follows the curriculum of the MIT USE (the world's number one place), so there is no doubt that it is industry-relevant or not. The semester level is designed by college faculty themselves which is at the medium level as students' goal is not only for an exam-centered goal but also for learning and learning.
Other: I chose this course because it has a future and with this college I have an opportunity to develop myself and my personality.

Overall, the college experience is the best.
Placements: The placement percentage is typically high with computer science and IT branches having nearly 90-100 percent placements, while other branches also have strong placement records. The highest package can go above 40-50 LPA (mainly for CS/IT students in product-based companies). The lowest package varies but is usually around 3-4 LPA. The average package is generally in the range of 8-12 LPA for CS/IT. Around 5-8 LPA for other branches. Top recruiting tech giants are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Adobe, Oracle, etc. Finance & consulting are J. P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, etc. Product & startups are Uber, Zomato, Paytm, CRED and Razorpay.
Infrastructure: The department facilities at SPIT offer modern infrastructure for students, ensuring a good learning environment. Some of the key facilities include: Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, comfortable seating, and air conditioning. Labs have high-end computers and the latest software/tools for programming, AI/ML, networking, and hardware experiments. Wi-Fi provides high speed. The campus is wide with internet access. There is a well-stocked library with academic books, research papers, and digital access to journals. There is a dedicated space for AI, cybersecurity, and IoT research. We have clean and spacious, usually shared (double/triple occupancy) rooms. Indoor and outdoor sports like badminton, football, basketball, and gym facilities are there.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified (many with PhDs), experienced and supportive. Most faculty members are approachable and help students with projects, research, and industry guidance. The teaching quality is generally good with a mix of theory and practical learning. Some faculty members focus on research-oriented teaching while others emphasize industry applications.
Other: Strong placement record with top recruiters. Industry-relevant curriculum with research and project opportunities. Exposure to coding competitions, hackathons, and real-world applications. Well-connected alumni network in top tech companies. The best things about the course focus on practical learning through projects, internships, and coding competitions. Availability of high-quality faculty and modern lab facilities. Opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML, cybersecurity, and IoT. Areas for improvement are more elective choices to cater to different industry trends. Increased industry collaborations for real-world exposure. The better faculty-to-student ratio for personalized attention. SPIRIT is a technical fest. We have hackathons, coding contests, and project showcases. Sports events like cricket, football, chess, badminton tournaments, and more are held.
