TNNLU placement is a four-step process, which are as follows:
- The placement cell arranges pre-placement discussions between candidates and recruiters.
- The recruiters conduct a pre-interview screening round. If any recruiter does not conduct pre-interview screening then placement cell will forward the CVs of interested candidates.
- After the pre-interview screening, the list of shortlisted candidates will be announced by the recruiters

No, you cannot join TNNLU directly. Admission to TNNLU for undergraduate law courses like the 5-year Integrated Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) is done through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) . Candidates must apply and register themselves for the CLAT examination. While registering, candidates must enter Tamil Nadu National Law School under their preferences in order to be considered for admission
