A review on Techno India University.

Placements: We have to find our own placements. The college provides us with the list of best architecture firms in and around us and then helps us make our CV. This is very helpful, and also we have the confidence of taking up a job on our own. Overall, it helps us to achieve good placements.

Infrastructure: The college has a really good infrastructure. There are cubicles for architecture department as well as proper studios for drafting. Most importantly, there is plenty of space, and every corner is well-equipped. Each class has a projector which makes displaying and studying through presentations easy for us.

Faculty: The course curriculum is just like any other architectural college. Site visits and projects on various sites make studying easier. The faculty at Techno India are very helpful and understanding. Flexible class timings allow us to learn in a good way. There is complete support from the faculty if someone wants to learn something good.

It is not worth paying Rs. 85K per semester. They promise placements but never fulfill.

Placements: We are the first batch of the university so we are not expecting much from the college. Although in other colleges they help the students to get the internships, most of our students had to find their internships on their own. The placements in other departments are not that bad.

Infrastructure: The offices will fit well in the built-up infrastructure. To make it a college, they need to develop it. The administration needs to improve their ways of incorporating the advanced technology. It is high time that the management understands that the student's future depends on the teachers. So they need to hire a set of highly educated and experienced faculty members who have a hands-on experience and not just some bookish knowledge.

Faculty: The faculty inspires to have higher degrees. They don't have the on-field experience. A bigger number of experienced teachers is required. The architecture's course curriculum is not as per the council of architecture. The syllabus should be renewed following the council of the architecture book.

The faculty of the college are good.

Placements: No batches have yet passed out from this institution. Hope we get great placements. In architecture, you have to create your portfolio and present it to different companies. The college suggests you the best companies available. It depends on your capability and hard work.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Though we lack architecture studio in our college, it is good overall. We have rooms for relaxation. A separate architectural library is present. Cubicles to gather and work together. Also, there are good and spacious rooms for other streams as well.

Faculty: The faculty here are very helpful. They interact with every student and explain and understand their requirements. They help us shape a better future altogether. The curriculum of the college is interesting. Workshops and guest lectures are also conducted.

Wastage of 5 years as well as money

Placements: Campus placements don't happen in architecture. It's the same in every college. The job application process is different. You have to apply to different firms and architectural practices to get a job. This is not just the case for this college. It is like this in every other architectural college in the country.

Infrastructure: Insufficient infrastructure/facilities. Architectural studios are not sufficient for all the batches. There is no model making space, labs, etc. The library has decent books but no recent journals and publications. Medical facilities are not available. No accessible Wi-Fi on the premises. The canteen food is average and pricey (It's not a proper canteen. It's a restaurant tie-up). No hostel available.

Faculty: The faculty members are decent but not sufficient. Some of them are helpful and approachable all the time. Others are just freshers and have no industry exposure. Hardly any industry exposure is given. The course curriculum is not up to the mark. Important subjects are just eliminated or not present in the syllabus.

Life changing experience.

Placements: There are no provision for placements for students studying in the B.Arch course. But for other departments placements are held for students. We have 6 months period of internship which the students of B.Arch course arrange for themselves which helps us after passing out the course.

Infrastructure: In our architecture course we have classrooms, architectural studios and library. There are no Wi-Fi facilities for the students. We do not have hostel accommodation within the campus. Our college campus consists of visual arts studios where many seminars are held.

Faculty: The professors have been quite helpful and resourceful throughout the architecture course. Course curriculum does make the students prepare well for the upcoming future as we get to experience six months period of internship which helps to prepare for our career.
