Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee Merit Scholarship was officially declared on the 24th of July, 2019 by the former President of India. Techno India University, West Bengal is the first university to take this opportunity to introduce this scholarship and it is a great honour for our national pride. Every year one meritorious student will get this opportunity to get this scholarship along with certificate issued by the Bharat Ratna. This scholarship will enable students to concentrate towards increasing their knowledge and skills in the field of Science and Technology to connect India globally.

Techno India University BTech programme features the specialised Dhyan Chand Scholarship Scheme for outstanding sports talents. International-level players receive a full 100% waiver on their course tuition fees. National-level medal winners can claim a 50% concession on their educational costs. State or district participation under recognised boards grants a 25% fee waiver. Applicants must be under 23 years of age and pass certificate evaluations by the sports committee.
To claim the Chancellor Merit cum Means Scholarship for a BTech at Techno India University, eligible students must provide official proof of financial need. This special aid offers a tuition fee remission ranging from 50 - 100%. Maintaining a strong academic track records every semester is also compulsory.
