To get admission to B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at Tezpur University, candidates will be selected based on All India Rank (CRL) of JEE (Main)-2025 conducted by the NTA. 60% of the seats are reserved for permanent residents of Northeastern states, to be filled up through the counselling conducted by the B.Tech. Screening and Selection Committee (BSSC) of the School of Engineering, Tezpur University. Remaining 40% seats are open for filling up through the Central Counselling conducted by JoSAA/CSAB. Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech Programmes are required to be qualified, and those who are expected to complete all components of the examination including practical and viva (if any) before the date of admission may also apply. The qualification for admission to the programme shall be 10+2 pass with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and pass marks in English and qualifying in AIEEE.
