For applying admission in the Gandhigram Institute you will be required to get passing marks in CUET examination and there will be counselling for the selected candidates who all are getting higher cutoffs in the examination and in the counselling you will be required to pay the admission fees then and only that admission will be considered.

Gandhigram Rural Institute BSc curriculum consists of three academic years with six semesters. The programme is offered under the Choice Based Credit System and it consists of following courses:

To get admission in Master of Science (MSc) programme, candidates must have passed graduation and appear for CUET- PG exam. Selection will be done the basis of CUET score. Candidates admitted to PG programmes must submit the consolidated statement of score/ performance record of the qualifying exam. 

Gandhigram University MBA admission is entrance-based for the academic year 2024 as candidates seeking admission to the MBA at Gandhigram University are required to appear for the CUET PG. Therefore, UG degree marks are not enough for admission to the MBA programme.

Gandhigram University provides an opportunity for MBA students to apply for various scholarships. The eligible SC, ST, OBC and, PwD category students can avail the Central Sector Scholarship (postmatric) through the respective State Government. Gandhigram Rural Institute MBA scholarships also include remittance of tuition fees. The eligible SC/ ST/ SCC/ PwD category students are exempted from remittance of tuition fees.

Gandhigram Rural Institute Counselling process 2023 is ongoing. The university is currectly conducting Round 2 Seat Allotment for PG courses, including MSc Micro Biology, MSc Applied Geology and Geomatics, MSc Botany, MSc Zoology, MSc Chemistry and MSc Food Science and Nutrition.
