Best for being a successful doctor.
Placements: 100 percent of students got placed here. There is no highest or lowest package, all got an average of 35 LPA. First of all, we get placement on our campus only, then if anyone wants, they can go for outside campus. 100 percent of students got internships from our course. Top roles are doctor, assistant doctor, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our course include speed Wi-Fi and fully equipped labs, meaning everything is present. Fully air-conditioned classrooms with 30 students in each classroom. The hostel facility is very good. Food quality is very good, and food is given in unlimited quantities. Sports and games are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. They give a 24/7 doubt-clearing service. This course curriculum is very good, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are really difficult, you have to work hard to pass.

I like to study in this college as academically it is a very good college.
Placements: As we complete our course up to the final year, we should work in the same college for 1 year, for which they pay Rs. 30,000 per month, which will increase every year by 5%. If you have any interest in doing PG, you can do it by taking another entrance exam, which is NEET PG. If not, we can work in different hospitals, which may pay you a minimum amount of 60-70k due to the reputation of the college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is rum by government and is only average in infrastructure. You get only the basics. The cleanliness is average. All the buildings are old and need renovation, which is currently being carried out. The bathrooms are common, and we have a common dining area. The food is pretty good as it is a student-run mess and not contract-based. The hostel has a gym, a library, a study room, a recreation room, and Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The curriculum here is maintained well so that each and every student gets to know everything a medico should know. They conduct exams every 2-3 weeks, which helps them master the topics on which the exam is conducted.

Excellent case loads with a variety of patients.
Placements: Placement in government hospitals is done by writing a government examination. General practice can be done in private hospitals, and normal practice can be done by having a clinic. The college provides internship facilities, and the stipend given is almost Rs. 13,000.
Infrastructure: The hostel is now renovated and spacious. The food here is tasty, and the menu provides all the nutrients. Every day, there will be non-veg and veg to choose from. Hostellers are to be paid monthly for mess bills and room rents, which combined come around 3-4k per month on average. Each room has 3 members, and the water and current facilities are continuous.
Faculty: Initially, I was a bit skeptical about referring to Stanley rather than Coimbatore MC (which was my hometown), but I am sure now that I have made the right choice. With the curriculum vastly spread, all the departments make sure that a clear basic input on all subjects is being provided. Practicals are given equal importance to theory in non-clinical subjects, and it is in the clinical postings where one can actually learn a lot of stuff.

Placements: Around 95% of students got placed in this course. Package varies from every role but we could assume that 25 LPA - 40 LPA. Top recruiting companies/hospitals were AIIMS PGI, Cipla, Apollo Hospital, etc. Top roles were senior president, researchers, medical advisory for respiratory portfolio, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities were well-equipped and dedicated OPO and IPD for respiratory cases. Well-equipped bronchoscopy suits were available, and seminar/discussion rooms with AV aids were also available and so many. Quality of food was good, and separate hostel was available on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members for this course were typically specified with MD with several years of clinical and academic experience. The MD in respiratory medicine was a 3 year full time program mixture of clinical academic and research training. Exams were divided into two parts, internal and external. 40% marks were required for passing.

Placements: Around 90% students are placed with their internship. Highest package was between 15-20 LPA, average package was around 10-12 LPA, and lowest package was 5 LPA. Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are outdated, and campus is spread over 10 acres. Wi-Fi, classroom, labs, and a well-stocked library are available on campus. Quality of food is good, and separate hostels are available for girls and boys. Outdoor and indoor games also occurred on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very skilled and experienced, and they behave well with all students. M.M.C. are affiliated with Tamil Nadu's Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. This programme spans 3 years and is full-time, and exams are divided into internal and external with 100 marks, with 50% being the minimum passing mark.

Placements: Internship period of 12 months where you will be given rupees 25000 per month during your internship period. You can learn all the basics of dentistry, and you are allowed to attend public camps regarding dental health programs conducted by the college itself. They offer an internship in my college hospital itself. It has so many allied institutions like Regional Institute of Ophthalmology RIO, Institute of Mental Health IMH, etc. They offer an internship there at CRRI.
Infrastructure: There will be inter-college sports meet and inter-college cultural meet, and they will also allow you for intra-college completion. There is sports coordinator here who will genuinely guide you and appreciate you. Every year, there will be sports GDC events in which all batches from final year to first year will participate and medals and an honor certificate will be given to all those winners on Republic Day. There will be interesting college and cultural events.
Faculty: Faculty members are so good and friendly. They teach and educate us so well, and they are so knowledgeable and experienced. In first year total 3 papers are to be cleared, second year 3 papers, and 2 non-clinical work, 3rd year, 3 papers final year total of 8 papers to be cleared.

It is a decent college with good learning, but it needs improvement in facilities.
Placements: My batch is MD in Pharmacology from Madras Medical College. Around 30-40% of students got placed from our course. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 4-5 LPA. The average package ranges between 6-8 LPA. Some top companies that come for recruitment are government research labs, pharma companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, and some hospitals too. Almost 60-70% of students got internships. Most of them did internships in government hospitals, research centers, and a few in private pharma companies.
Infrastructure: Our department has classrooms, labs, and the library. Labs are okay and not very modern, but they are useful for study. Wi-Fi is there, but it is sometimes slow or does not work properly. The library has many books, but they are all a little old. Hostel facility is available. Rooms are okay, not very clean, but livable.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They have good knowledge, but some do not teach very well. Some teachers just read from slides. Few teachers explain nicely. The course curriculum is okay. Some parts are useful for jobs, but some topics are old-fashioned. Not all things match with industry work. Students learn theory, but it has few practicals.
Other: I am from the MD in Pharmacology course, and I am from the batch of 2022-2025 in Madras Medical College. I chose this course because I am interested in medicine and research. I want to work in the pharma field. The best thing about this course is that we learn a lot about drugs, side effects, research, and trials. We get chances to do practical.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members, placements, facilities, and infrastructure.
Placements: In government medical colleges, placements are not as formal as in engineering and management courses. The top hospitals and healthcare organizations that offer positions to MD Respiratory Medicine graduates include corporate and multi-specialty hospitals, private chest and super-specialty clinics, and others. Top roles include chest physician, critical care specialist, medical advisor, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are well-maintained, with dedicated respiratory medical wards and ICUs available. Sleep labs, bronchoscopy suites, and PFT labs are also accessible. A well-equipped radiology and pathology department is present. Hostels and mess facilities are good and available for the PGs.
Faculty: Teachers are well-behaved with all students, and they are well-versed in both teaching and clinical works. They guide us through theory, practical skills, research, and bedside manner. This course follows the syllabus prescribed by the National Medical Commission and Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. We have periodic internal theory and practical exams throughout the three years.

There is no mention of provisional admissions being granted for MGR University BSc admissions. Generally, institutes that select candidates on merit of Class 12 board exams do not offer admissions without the Class 12 board exam marksheet.

No, the BSc admissions are yet to be opened at MGR University for the academic year 2026. Candidates can expect the admissions to open around the month of May or April for the MGR University BSc course.
Thus, candidates who receive their Class 12 board exams should apply as soon as possible.

There is no mention of a particular stream in Class 12 that candidates must have in order to be eligible for MGR University BSc course. Thus, candidates can assume that their is no restriction on the BSc eligibility criteria regarding the stream of Class 12 board exams at MGR University.
