    There is no provision for getting direct admission in MBBS programme at MGR University. Candidates willing to take admission in MBBS programme at MGR Medical University must appear for the NEET exam.

    Besides appearing for the NEET exam, the candidate also fills out the application form for admission in MBBS through MGR University registered websites. Candidates based on their NEET score will get selected for further admission processes.

    Art of healing and Medicine.
    Placements: Thanjavur Medical College provides 150 seats for MBBS course. Per class we had 150 students each year. We were having 4 and a half years of study course and 1 year of internship totally 5 and a half years. 2nd year onwards we would had clinical postings. Every student should work as an intern for 1 year after completion of course.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure was not so good because its an old building of almost 30 years. Cleanliness in maintenance was also average only. No Wi-Fi or AC available in class and hostel. We have canteen in our college. Quality of food would be average but in hostel the mess quality provided would be very good. We had international sports meet every year and culturals would be conducted for 1 week every year. Yearly college fees 13,000 + For Books 7,000 + Hostel fees only for Food 5,000 per month + Exam fees 4,000.
    Faculty: The faculty members were kind skillful and knowledgeable. The doctors who were placed as associate professor were taking class for us. Live classes at clinical postings with patients were also available. Difficulty of semester exams will be high. Every year we had university exam with practical and the pass percentage was 50 percent. We would be conducting seminars every week and every year there is selection to choose college representative.
    Other: Serve to humanity as the medical course was the Art of healing. Satisfaction dedication and social skill development focus and concentration moral values lifestyle improvement. We had sports meet every year and we had cultural programme yoga classes and other government functions seminars from colleges all over Tamil Nadu quiz competition project presentation.

    A detailed review of Tirunelveli Medical College.
    Placements: Since it is a medical college, every student is destined to get a job. The college provides internships at government hospitals for all students. In short, there are 100% placements. Packages vary individually as different hospitals pay differently and range from 5-8 LPA. Recruitment depends on individuals. Top hospitals are Apollo Hospitals, Kaveri Hospitals, etc. All students get internships at the same hospitals.
    Infrastructure: Regarding facilities, I would not say they are top-notch or high-tech, but all the basic facilities are available. In a few departments, like super-speciality departments, they are world-class. There is Wi-Fi available in the lecture complex, and AC is provided as well. The library is well-equipped with computers and the latest books for students to access current resources.
    Faculty: There is no doubt that every faculty member in this college is highly qualified and competent. Teachers use PPTs and projectors to teach and bring out the best in students. Teaching quality is impeccable. The course curriculum is relevant, and the students are highly trained and qualified. The exams are as difficult as they are supposed to be in medical colleges. The pass percentage is a minimum of 40% in theory and practical, and their combined average should be at least 50%.
    Other: I always dreamt of becoming a doctor, so I chose this course. The best thing is that you get to relieve patients' symptoms, and it also enables you to meet 20–30 people per day, making you socially better. I would like to improve the work-life balance, as this course is highly demanding physically and mentally. There is a fest, and events happen every now and then. Scholarships are available for those who are eligible.

    It is an affordable medical college.
    Placements: Placement in our course was generally negligible, but there is a significant placement of around 60%. The highest package offered in our course was 40 LPA. The average package was around 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Narayana Health, Apollo, etc.
    Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were really good. Labs have all the required equipment and resources. The classroom was digital and large in size. The facilities in the hostel were also good. A limited sports facility was present.
    Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The teaching quality of our faculty members was honest and great. The course curriculum was relevant. Semester examinations were as hard as this medical course. 80% students passed the exam.

    Sree Mookambika Medical College – An overall review
    Placements: About 80% of the students were placed in this course. The highest package offered for this course is 8 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are private companies like Apollo and SRMC. 100 percent of the students get internships after the course. The top role offered is CMO after completing the course in private sector hospitals.
    Infrastructure: College has excellent infrastructure. It has a huge library for all the voracious readers. Labs and classrooms are air-conditioned. The food in the hostel and canteen is excellent. The classrooms are huge and well-ventilated, with a capacity for 150 students.

    Good medical college except GH is far away from college.
    Placements: CMC placements are strong. 85-90% of students got placed. Salaries range for junior doctors 6 LPA - 8 LPA, specialists 18 LPA - 25 LPA, nurses/paramedics 3 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Apollo, Fortis, and Government hospital. 100% of students got MBBS internships at CMC Hospital. Other courses 90-95% internships at top local hospital. Roles offered are doctor, nurse, and lab tech.
    Infrastructure: Our college buildings are old but have good maintenance. There is no Wi-Fi and library is available. Food quality is good. Playground and shuttle court are available. There is no current cut, and water supply is good. Rooms are very neat and everyone has separate rooms. Food is awesome. Old buildings are the only problem.
    Faculty: All the professors are very good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent. New CBME based curriculum is very helpful and easy. Usually, the exams are difficult and getting pass itself is very hard.
    Other: Everything is good. Cultural and sports meets are held often.
