The eligibility criteria for direct admission to the BNYS course at Lucknow University is as follows:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects recognised by Central/State Government.
The candidate should have obtained not less than 50 percent marks in aggregate in the Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) at the qualifying examination.
However, the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be given a relaxation of 5 percent in the marks required for eligibility.
No candidate shall be admitted to the course unless he/she completes 17 years of age by 31st December of the year of admission or any other date prescribed by the University.
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects recognised by Central/State Government.
