Lucknow University Hostel Facilities
The University of Lucknow comprises a total of 18 hostels, 8 of which are dedicated to female students. For male students, there are a total of 10 hostels. All hostels are located on the old and second campuses. The Chandra Shekhar Azad Hall for girls is architecturally beautiful. Surrounded by lush green trees, the hall contains 82 double-seated rooms and four 4-seated rooms, accommodating a total of 176 students. Lucknow University Library
The University of Lucknow has three libraries: the Tagore Library, the Cyber Library, and the Cooperative Lending Library. The central research library, known as the Tagore Library, holds a vast collection of rare manuscripts, paintings, art objects, ancient coins, theses, and research journals. In 2024, the Tagore Library underwent significant renovations, now accommodating up to 360 students. It features a new issue and returns counter with a hassle-free automated attendance system.
