College has a good atmosphere for study as well as for extracurricular activities.

Placements: I have graduated from Uttaranchal University. 100% students of my batch got placed on campus, at high pay scale as well as at low pay scale. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Companies like Panacea, Bharat Serums, and Jubiliant Foodworks are recruiting organisations. All students have to complete a 2-month internship in the first year of college. Many students applied for the internship on their own, but the ones who could not get internships from college at Himalayan Institute and Indian Glycol. Roles offered are in production and R&D.

Infrastructure: Our college is full-time. It has unlimited Wi-Fi facility with well-equipped labs having basic to advanced instruments, PCR, gel electrophoresis unit, UV spectrophotometer, etc. The library is the hub with all the required books from graduate to Ph.D. level. I was not living in the hostel. But as much as I heard about it, the hostel rooms are clean, well organised, have Wi-Fi, and good security. Mess is good. I have heard no complaints about the food. The university has its hospital on the campus. Games and sports are available till 6:00 PM.

Faculty: All teachers are doctorates, helpful, supportive, and have lots of knowledge. Teaching quality is good (Bilingual, Hindi, and English). The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult if the student has studied during the semester. 6 CGPA is the passing mark.

Other: I am interested in research related to biological organisms. We biotechnologists have the opportunity to get into any field for a career, whether food technology, microbiology, or biotechnology (animal and plant). No improvement is required; just FTIR and HPLC techniques should be taught to students. Annual fest is organised every year. The university has more than 18,000 students. It's the university with the biggest campus in Uttarakhand. Scholarships are provided, and lots of extracurricular activities are organized.

Beautiful campus, decent facilities.

Placements: The placements at UU are fairly good. Companies such as IDS Infotech and Indivirtus have come to the campus for placements, and I was fortunate enough to get offers from both of them. So, according to me, the placements are just fine. The package offered is around 3-4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very eye-catching. It is the best thing the college owns. The hostel facilities are world-class, with all the necessary services required by students. The food in the mess is not bad; it is also good. Overall, hostel facilities are just fine.

Faculty: The teachers are good, and all are Ph.D. holders. The exam level is easy; anyone who has studied sincerely can pass easily. The HOD is very helpful. Research work is always ongoing, which gives exposure to various techniques being launched in the biotech world.

Other: The crowd is amazing. No one can be alone at UU.

Students get a very good atmosphere to study and enjoy to the fullest of college life.

Placements: About 25-30% of the students got campus placements. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. The top recruiting company is Tirupati Pharma. Almost 100% of the students got an internship in various companies, including Mankind, Tirupati and Akums.

Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. It has a huge library, well-equipped labs, and classrooms are neat and clean with well-furnished benches. I was a day scholar, but I heard that food is good. Safety and security of students are also good.

Faculty: Almost every teacher has a doctorate degree in their respective fields. Teaching quality is an average for 80% of the teachers as they focus only on exam point of view knowledge but not for extra knowledge. The curriculum is relevant for students to make them ready for industrial jobs.

Other: Every year our university organises two big youth fests, and two famous singers also come each year in the fest. Other than fests, our university also organises different sports activities, various quizzes and other competitions. Almost 5-6 events are organised per month by various departments.

Overall, the university is superb, and I have a very good experience.

Placements: The placement cell in the university is good. Most of the qualified students surely get placements in reputed companies. Our senior batches got good salary packages with relevant posts. Some students are also able to get the on-campus internships during vacations.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is well-built. The building is well-furnished with lots of facilities such as a medical room, sports clubs, canteen, hostels, air-conditioned classrooms, library, etc. We didn't face any infrastructure related issues, and we are quite satisfied with the overall environment of the university.

Faculty: Faculty members in the university are highly qualified and polite. They put in the best efforts to teach. We also got various research projects for exposure. The course curriculum provides both theoretical as well as the practical part which is very useful for the students.

Other: Events, fest, and farewell are well-organised in the university.

Average teaching faculty, placement also not that good, but the infrastructure is nice.

Placements: About 70% students were placed. The highest package was 10 Lacs and the lowest about 3 Lacs and average 5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Himalaya, patanjali, etc. About 50% students got internship. And roles of chemist was famous among students. It's quite good.

Infrastructure: Labs are average, classroom also okay but library is quite good. Hostel facility was average quality of food was alright, medical facilities is okay as there is hospital and sports and games are also average. Football and cricket along with volleyball and basketball are given main Focus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful but can be more qualified. Teaching qualiuis just average. Course curriculum is relevant. Students mostly are industry ready as it's Masters. Semester exams are really easy and pass percentage is high if you're average student you'll do great.

Other: I always wanted to be a chemist so I chose. This course is amazing as I love Chemistry. Fest is amazing in our university, crowd is alright connection is fair .

I am not satisfied with the placements of the college.

Placements: Placement in my course if not good. I have not seen a good number of people in my seniors and batch mates getting placed. Infact my graduation is also from this college but that time also placements were not good only 2-3 batch mates of mine were placed.

Infrastructure: It is very good and attractive. Most of the students take the admission by seeing the campus. It has greenery and clean surrounding around the campus. Canteen, food court, gym, salon, atm, stationery, nescafe is there is my university campus. It has a very good library which is said to be the best in Dehradun.

Faculty: There are many courses in Uttranchal university, it is one of the biggest university in Dehradun and almost every year new courses are launched in university. There are more than 40-50 courses in University. Thousands of students are studying there.

Other: Campus crowd is good. Events are organised by different departments and all other departments participate in it. I chose this course because I have interest in food Science and technology.
