This college is good and very helpful.
Placements: 60% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 3 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.90 LPA. Average companies visit the college to hire students from our course. 40% of students get internships. No roles are offered in our course. Because there are many students and some interested students get jobs and some are thinking of higher studies.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our hostel and classrooms, like Wi-Fi, a fan, and labs. There is an average quality of hostel and good quality of labs in our class Classrooms and labs are AC. There are three types of labs. The library is very good and all books are provided.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and are of good quality. The course curriculum is relevant and very helpful for students' careers. Exams are tough and conducted strictly. 85% is the pass percentage in our college. Because they distribute books in exams, and teachers check papers strictly.
Other: I chose this course because I love computers and development. Everything is included here.

It is in a line that is too good.
Placements: Almost 35% students are placed from my college. Here, many companies and banks are recruiting. Here, top recruitment companies are Wipro, Oracle, TCS, IBM, HCL, ICICI Bank, and many. Top courses are BCA Computer Science and Electronics for placement in our college.
Infrastructure: Library is too good. All books are available. Digital reading and a simple reading room are available in a good environment. And labs, hostel, and classrooms are good. And you enjoy your college life during function. And college canteen has all fast food items, lunch, everything.
Faculty: Exam guide and exam guard are excellent. You will receive exam routine 7 to 10 days before. And also declared in the academic calendar. Here, exams are held in our own college, which is a big point for our college. And a practical exam will be held, and externals will come for a viva.
Other: A big college ground is available in our college, and campus atmosphere is innocent. Scholarships are also available for all subjects. And tours and fests are held, but this is your department, dependent on this curriculum.

Decent college for a degree, but lacks industry exposure and modern facilities.
Placements: I am from BCA course at Midnapore College (Autonomous). Regarding placement, only around 10 to 15% of students from our batch got placed through campus drives. Highest salary package offered was around 2 to 2.5 LPA, lowest salary package offered was 1.2 to 1.8 LPA, and average salary package stayed around 2.5 to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were usually small startups, local IT firms, and sometimes companies like TCS (via pool campus), Wipro, and Cognizant. Internship opportunities were also limited, hardly 20-25% of students got internships, usually through personal effort or websites like Internshala. Internship companies were mostly small software or web development firms.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities and infrastructure for our BCA department at Midnapore College (Autonomous), I would say it is average. Classrooms are decent but not very modern. Wi-Fi is available but slow and often unreliable. There are computer labs, but many of the systems are outdated and not maintained regularly. Library is good and well-stocked, especially for general subjects, but IT-specific books are somewhat limited.
Faculty: Teachers in our department were generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some of faculty members have good teaching experience and explain concepts well, but not everyone is equally updated with modern industry trends or tools. Teaching quality is average. Mostly theory-based and traditional, not very practical or hands-on.
Other: I am from BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) batch at Midnapore College (Autonomous). I chose this course because I was interested in computers and wanted to build a career in the IT/software field. Best thing about this course is that it helps students build a foundation in programming, databases, and basic software knowledge. Faculty is supportive in clearing doubts, and course is suitable for students who want to start learning about IT.

Placements: From our course, 50% of students are placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, and SentientGeeks. The highest package for our course is 2 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are developer and analyst trainee.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for our course are very good. The Software Lab is perfect, and AC is available there. Classrooms are clean and good. Library facilities are excellent. Hostel facilities are available and very good, with good food quality in the hostel. A canteen is available on the college campus, offering various types of food.
Faculty: Teachers of our department are very helpful. The teaching quality was too good. Our faculty members are knowledgeable and qualified. The semester exams are not too hard, nor too easy. The pass percentage is 92%. This course is very effective for industry readiness.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the computer technical line. The best thing about our course is that I gain knowledge about new, real-world technologies. Events like seminars, freshers' parties, college fests, and cultural programs are held in our department and college. Scholarships are available, and the campus surroundings are excellent.

The Vidyasagar University MCA Cutoff 2025 was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for admission to the MCA course.
For the OBC HS quota, the cutoff was 2408 in the first round and 1378 in the last round. Vidyasagar University accepts the WBJEE JECA cutoff ranks for admission to the MCA
